Maria's Hair Braiding, Philadelphia PA

Had to wait an hour and a half for my daughters hair to be started then another 45 minutes for mine. They were super loud. My hair took 8 hours (medium individuals) and I did not get what I asked for. ALL the women being serviced complained about how slowly the braiders were working. The woman who braided my hair tried her best but I didn't get what we agreed on. I won't be going back.

They do your hair in fashionable manner. Very polite and very Reasonable with their prices! I have been going here for Year's lol

A hot mess made an appointment for 9: 00am when I got there nobody was there to do my hair I waited for a hour before I left. The two ladies in the shop the owner and one of the braiders were arguing. Just a mess I will never go back there again. Save the time and go somewhere else. TRUST ME

ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY BRAIDS! Stylist Aisha REALLY SLAYED my braids! She made my thinning hair look full. I told her that I was tender headed and she made it her business to work swiftly but be VERY careful when braiding! The owner Maria is Very nice as she came over to braid my ends when she finished her client. I know her work is SOLID as well because I she did my hair BEAUTIFUL twice, some years ago. I was lucky to get a same day appointment because all Stylist were busy when I arrived. God's willing, I WILL BE BACK!

I came to get my hair done and the lady doing my hair stopped to wash and blow dry her own hair. I mean spending $200 and i had to buy my own hair. This was definitely not professional.

The worst! They over charge even when you bring your own hair they take to long just to do cornrows eat to much and talk about you in your face as if you can't pickup on it and they don't listen to the customs they do what they want yo your hair

I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to get knotless braids, eight hours later she came home with box braids. The braids were not neat and of poor quality. They did not look like she just got her hair done. Do not go here for knotless braids. You will be disappointed!

Came here got my hair braided 2 times before had great experience. This time I made a appointment the day before for 9 am the following morning. I show up at 904, for them to tell me I didn't have a appointment. Very upsetting and inconvenient will not return.

Been there a few times and left feeling good. A few times I showed a pic on how I wanted my hair and even tho it Didn’t come out I how wanted it, It came out better. They do talk a lot amongs each other which interferes in the time that being spent in the chair its still professionally done my edges is still I place and I would recommend this shop to everyone

She did a nice job but 2 of my braids came out 2 days after I got it done. But i got a lot of compliments on my hair.
