Marie's Diner reviews
17I love Marie's! The food is consistently great, the staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is so cute. They have local meat shops on the menu, like Kominsky's and Murrazi's. I would recommend this diner to everyone. It's a really great experience every time I go there.
The chicken tenders were just giant chicken nuggets (not actual tenders) and the fries were sad and wrinkled. Disappointed.
Very good food nice staff we didnt have to wait Long for our food. Would definitely go back there again.
Downhome food at reasonable prices. I am always pulled in with good sausage, and local Murrazzi sausage is as good as it gets, so I was really pleased with my breakfast with Murrazzi sausage
It's really nice inside. Service was friendly. The menu is great and prices very reasonable, especially for their breakfast platters. We had the hearty slam, Belgian waffles, french toast and omelette. My only complaint is the food was almost cold when served. I would try this place again though because of the nice variety on the menu and prices.
Good stuff here. Devil fries are on point (hot sauce is homemade). BBQ pulled chicken special was smoky and very flavorful. The homemade BBQ sauce has bacon chunks in it! And the Peanut Butter pie was amazing.
The food is amazing & the staff is super friendly. The only downfall is it is usually really busy! But still great
Extremely friendly and courteous staff! The delicious food you would expect from a wonderful place like this.
Charming little spot, crowded for Sunday lunch. Cute if kitschy decor including the beloved little swine. I got a regular chili, which was pretty good for its the modest size
Absolutely love this place. Such a good ambiance and vibe within the restaurant. From the small details to make it beautiful inside to the food! I got a pumpkin waffle with cinnamon butter, delicious. Along with eggs hash browns with the Italian toast (amazing). My server Angie was so attentive with our food and made sure my coffee was always full and didn’t miss any details that are added with the food. Such a good family style diner with amazing breakfast foods, lunches, and specials. My favorite place to go for Sunday brunches. —- and let’s not forget about the amazing chicken noodle soup: very flavorful and my favorite.
Wonderfully friendly & warm service, great prices and– of course–delicious food. I definitely recommend this lovely little diner!
I love Marie's! Always great service, and the food is always great. Food comes out quick even when they're busy, and the restaurant is always clean!
Went there on Fathers Day and it was an overall fantastic experience! Food was delicious and it honestly was the best service I've ever had at a restaurant/diner. The waitresses were constantly checking if we were in need of anything and your coffee was never close to being empty bc they had a waitress walk around topping off everyone's cup. I highly recommend eating there, 5 star restaurant in my opinion
Delicious food, great menu options. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I like their take on corned beef hash, unlike any other I have tried. It's almost like mashed potatoes with the corned beef and peppers mixed in, then grilled. It has a very unique taste, but I really like it. Always my stop when I'm on McAlpine Street looking for something good to eat.
Great breakfast! Staff is always friendly and helpful! I always look forward to going to Marie's.

Coffee was good as were the hashbrowns but that's about all I can say. The waffle came out still mostly white and barely cooked, and the small portion size for the price of the potato cake meal at 12.99 was sad. First time here and the place wasn't that busy so not sure it was a "bad day for the staff" kind of thing. Disappointing experience.
