Small but diverse selection of products including organic, non-dairy, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options across produce, frozen foods, canned & bulk dried goods. Sells nationwide and local brands. Discounts available for co-op members.

Simple sandwich was messed up. Wanted just a plain Turkey and pepper Jack sandwich. I got 4 layers of mayo in between along with a bunch of other condiments.

Lots of good vegan options, but they have a real problem with moldy or rotting produce. I have this problem every time I buy produce here, with a variety of foods - apples, onions, peppers, grapes, etc.

Good selection. Fruit is sometimes disappointing for a co-op. Go to clark park farmer's market for those instead.

If you like to shop local, buy from local farmers and organic produce look no more. Mariposa's has just about everything you can think of and their prices are modest. I highly recommend this place to anyone trying to get away from big box stores.

This is a great local speciality market! They are community focused; a percentage of proceeds goes towards housing assistance programs for homeless or displaced individuals, and they offer membership opportunities which also benefit the community.

I like Mariposa's grocery selection too there are a myriad of vegan options to choose from.

If you're looking for gluten free products and you live in the area, Mariposa has a decent selection

Nice, small, local co-op. Good selection for its size. I want to try the fresh tofu whenI go back. And give the bulk sectiona better look. There were a lot of vegan treats, which made me happy. They've got more flavors of Stonewall's Jerquee than we've got where I live. Our clerk was laughing and chatting with co-workers moments before helping us, then became straight-face edging on dour when helping us.

Terrible customer service. When I was checking out I asked if I can run back just to grab an avocado which was right behind us.and he gave me huge sigh and said “fine” then had an attitude the rest of the transaction.like WOW there was no need for the attitude or sigh. You guys need to hire better employees because with an attitude like that you lost me and my friends business.

Mariposa can be expensive but they are a small market which thrives on ethics over money. I respect that a lot. They also support many social justice matters and the staff represents what they believe in. They are very friendly to all walks of life and you will comfortable in there regardless of how you dress or look. They carry a nice variety of organic products and produce.

Cooperative grocery store serving the neighborhood in a historic bank building with lots of natural daylight and high ceilings. Plenty of bike racks out front and good prices on organic items inside.

Wonderful store with good prices and interesting items. Not everything here because it's small but I come frequently for what they do have. By

Essentially health food store with a good selection of produce that you have to pay membership into to get a 3% (?) discount. Since it's overpriced, it's still overpriced if you're a member. Even if you're working member (you put some hours in every month helping out), it's still overpriced.
I go when it's inconvenient to hit Trader Joe's.

Great produce. Expensive as compares to other options like trader joe or whole foods. Staff are friendly
