Martin Foot and Ankle, Lancaster PA

I went to the lititz office with Planters fasciitis. I seen the doctor three times. The first time she gave me a shot and tried to sell me a brace for $400 to wear at night. She also recommended that I get two different types of shoes plus inserts. With all the pain I was in I did all the above. The inserts hurt so bad I couldn't even walk. So I did some research myself and got different inserts but still wasn't severe pain. After dealing with this practice for 6 months and three visits and a bill of over $600 out of pocket I was still in pain. Only to be told by the doctor basically I was lazy and not doing the exercise that's why I was in pain. Hard to be lazy when you work 60 hours a week on your feet. I seen another doctor and within one month my plantar fasciitis was gone. After getting one shot and my foot taped for 4 weeks the pain was gone. And basically the brace that she made me buy for $400 was a waste of money. Found another alternative to where at night time that was more comfortable and actually inexpensive. I recommend no one go to this practice unless you're ready to whip out your wallet and still be in pain

I find the whole experience at Martin Foot and Ankle to be excellent. Dr Wilke is calm and reassuring, answers questions after listening to the entire concern of the patient. She makes reasonable suggestions for ongoing foot health. I am a barefoot beach walker and having several foot issues but she did not tell me I can never walk barefoot on the beach! Yes, all other times I need shoes and that is OK with me! Yay!

I have had two surgeries on the same foot and would not go anywhere else for my foot surgeries.

From the office staff to the medical staff and doctor pleasant experience at the office. Good explanation to questions ask. Helpful and caring.

FYI: they will judge you by your medical insurance. If you're poor or deem you poor, they will reject you in a heartbeat.

I would recommend Martin Foot and Ankle to anyone they are the best. Dr Mulhern has been treating me since 2016 and she cares about how ur doing and she will do everything in her power to make sure u get the best care.

Dr. Younes is a fantastic doctor with a great sense of humor and “bed-side” manner! I felt nervous going in for what turned out to be a simple procedure and will be going back in two weeks for the other foot (and not feeling anxious). Nurse Nicole was also very kind and helpful! Highly recommend Martin Foot and Ankle.

Dr. Wilke performed an ankle fusion and graft for me about 14 weeks ago. I'm just starting to walk without crutches now so I still have a way to go during recovery. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Wilke. This is my 3rd fusion and there is no comparison. I am pain free for the first time in over 10 years. Pain after surgery was minimal unlike past fusions. She is just an excellent surgeon and I'm grateful for her work. Appointments are on time and the staff has been great. If I had known that an outcome like this was possible I wouldn't have waited and continued suffering for so long. Thank you.
