Martin's Appliance Service and Parts LLC

It's been one heck of a week and Martin's Appliance Store helped make it better! It started when our hot water heater started making noise and shaking violently, then our hot water heater stopped heating water, then we had a steady drip in the shower and to top it off, the kitchen stove stopped working 3 days before Thanksgiving! We are in Carlisle, so naturally I called our local appliance service store but they didn't work on Samsung ranges and they referred us to Martin's. I called and explained the situation. The gentleman I spoke with was empathetic and explained what the problem could be and walked me through how to fix it. Normally I would just order the parts and wait for them to come in, and then do it myself. He suggested that a service tech might have the parts on their truck and there happened to be a technician in Carlisle that day that could come take a look. I agreed and 3 hours later, the technician rolled up to the house. The technician (I think his name was Brad?) was friendly, polite, professional and clean. We talked briefly and then he started investigating. It didn't take long for him to figure out the issue and he happened to have the part in his truck. He quickly replaced the part and then tested the range and it was back in business! Thanksgiving was saved! Overall it took him about an hour including waiting 15 minutes for the stove to pre-heat and the bill was lower then I expected. I had a great experience with Martin's Appliance Service and Parts and they will be my go to if/when the other appliances start to fail. What are the odds that I will find someone like these guys who can get everything else fixed? !

We did not have to buy a new refrigerator thanks to the helpful people at Martin's Appliance! Our LG refrigerator (only 4 years old) starting failing and we did not know how to proceed. Martin's gave us tips that allowed us to figure out on our own what was basically wrong. From there they gave us a solution and their technican came out to replace the faulty compressor in a curtious and professional manner. I highly recommend calling Martin's if you are having issues with your appliances as they know what they are doing and can help you out!

Tried to contact them to service a refrigerator. They hung up on me in the middle of the call and would not pick up when I tried calling them back several times

Came out 2 days after I called. While fixing the one problem with our dryer he found another. He fixed both very quickly and charge a very reasonable amount. Very professional and friendly, I will definitely be using them for all our appliance maintenance in the future!

A good place to get parts for appliances. Also a good place to get advice if you like to do it yourself

The best service company I have ever dealt with. Great honest service and no Up-Sell. Just "Good Old fashioned" service which is very hard to find these days.

I called Martin's Appliance to help me with a freezer issue on my Samsung refrigerator and he knew exactly what was wrong with it over the phone. He ordered the part and was at my house in a few days to complete the repair. It has been about a month and the issue has been corrected. Highly recommend Martin's based on professionalism, knowledge, and customer service.

We were told our oven was shot and that it was not worth the cost to repair it- Called Martins- came out for a service call- no problem, ordered the part two days later came is fixed it in less than an hour Work PERFECT- asked if they knew anyone who works on cars, they do and guess what they are just as awesome as Martins Appliance- so if you need your car fixe head over to Martins Garage in Shippensburg you wont be disappointed both companies now have a client for LIFE

Professional, helpful, nice, inexpensive. I could keep going, but my experience has been fantastic. My Samsung fridge went on the blink and within minutes of speaking with Brad he was able to give me an idea of the problem along with an approximate cost (apparently there are well known issues with Samsung fridges). They sent someone out next day and were able to correct the problem.best part.it cost less than they originally quoted! Very impressed with their promptness and ability to schedule me in so quickly.

Marvin has repaired several appliances and not only are his fees better than reasonable his attitude and helpfulness is commendable. He does excellent work. He stands by his work. He never pushes unnecessary parts or labor to bump up his fees. You can't go wrong with Marvin.

Diagnosed motor sensor issue and had the LG washer running in less than 20 minutes. Definitely the go to for any future appliance repairs.
