Subhan-Allah, what a nice place to pray along with fellow Muslim Brothers when I travel to Philadelphia to visit my Brother. Allah is blessed the young Imam Shaikh Mohamed Abu Rayyan with exceptionally beautiful voice.

Thus far, best masjid in Philadelphia. The women's side can be a bit small on the day-to-day but during Ramadan, the entire basement is for women. It's huge and spacious! It is not a masjid for one ethnicity. You will find every ethnicity and every age group and I really enjoy that. During Ramadan nights, it was great meeting people of every culture and background. It is a very welcoming space without that "clique" type attitude. The recitation during taraweeh is so great! My husband and I cut our iftaar short to drive out to catch taraweeh here. The imam is really down to earth and real. They don't spend hours trying to get donations, they simply request for a minute, and that's it. Spent the 27th night here and it was just peaceful, serene and simple.

If you're looking for a gorgeous masjid - this isn't it. But if you want to feel unity and peace, this is it.

Sheikh Mosa will ask you for nonstop donation and the minute you (as a poor & struggling person) need and ask for donation yourself or any kinda help, he'll block you on his phone right away.

HAD to give 1 star in order to post. Parking is a disaster especially on Jumma. Inside Masjid is just okay. Imam is VERY rude person NOT what an Imam should be at all, disappointing. People here are just okay

This is a very warm community it will welcome you with open arms and share the knowledge of Islam with you and your family. The Imam of the community is very knowledgeable in the Quran as well as the different modes of recitation and he is a student of the major Scholars of the city of Mecca

ISGP should represent all Muslims residing in the USA generally and Philadelphia specially. The society should put efforts to unite all Muslims of Philadelphia and it should be free from all biases that could result disharmony among different muslim sects. The society and the services of the society must not be limited to only one sect of Muslim Ummah. It should provide a plate form for all Muslims of Philadelphia despite of the difference in their sect. The U S A is a land of opportunity. A large number of Muslims are absorbed in the American society keeping their identity on priority. The system here encourages and provides plenteous opportunities to grow and excel in every walk of life. When a non- Muslim society has the tolerance in allowing the people different from their culture, religion, and life styles why we Muslims have zero tolerance against our other Muslim brothers. The main reason is our ignorance and less knowledge about our religion. The leader of the society must exhibit the role of a great leader. Unfortunately, the present Imam Sahab is not fully aware of his roles and responsibilities as an Imam and his knowledge regarding Islam is also questionable. Imam Sahab must update and upgrade his knowledge of Islamic beliefs and the religion Islam in order to deserve the position he is holding now. This review is based on my personal experience. One of my family friends went to teach in Sunday school. The Imam Sahab didn’t allow her to teach because she belonged to a different sect. My question is that if you do not tolerate a different sect person why are you here in the United States? Go back to your countries and practice this false beliefs you have created by your own. This is not the teaching of Islam.

Great place to offer prayer. Renovation (took a few weeks) is almost over and made it spacious and more comfortable center for Islamic gatherings.
