Mattress Firm was the first and only place we went to to shop for our new King mattress. We worked with John at the Bloomsburg store who was nice, but after everything was said and done and I signed for financing, I did not feel taken care of at all. My mattress was supposed to be delivered on a Wednesday and instead of calling me to let me know of a change in the delivery schedule, the person who answered the phone made me feel as if I was bothering them and told me they’d call me back. I got my mattress two days late which, fine, no big deal. Would’ve been nice if they would’ve had the courtesy to reach out to me first before I called at the end of the day.
We were told upon purchase that the mattress had a 10 year warranty on it, and if we for any reason wanted to return the mattress within 60 days of a sleep trial, we could. Here I am 50 days into my purchase and we made the decision to return. I called and was told I am eligible to return the mattress but it would be $600 out of pocket! INSANE! Apparently these fees include a pickup fee of $300 and a “re-stocking fee” which is also $300+ because the mattress is used and cannot be resold…. The mattress is a $2,400 Serta and we were NEVER told about these fee’s upon signing. MAKE SURE YOU ASK ABOUT THIS! I feel as though the “sleep trial” is a complete scam, they’re going to make sure you’re stuck with the mattress or they get a huge portion of the price regardless of their customers care. Could you imagine returning an item at any other store and being told you have to pay a fraction of the price to return it? I’ve done a lot of shopping in my life and have never come across such blatant disregard to inform customers of this hidden bait & switch policy that screws you in the end. So dissatisfied.

John was extremely helpful. He walked us through all of our options and patiently answered our questions until we were ready to choose our new mattress.

Our sales associate was very patient with us and answered all our questions. We got a fair deal and we are looking forward to sleeping sound.

The salesperson at Mattress Firm in Bloomsburg was helpful from the moment we entered the store.
He asked what we were interested in and we told him a firm mattress that helps with back issues. He told us he would suggest two different brands and a few different firmness levels. We narrowed it down to two. He suggested that an adjustable bed may be right for us.
We tried one out and loved it. When he told us we could fit an adjustable bed into our existing bed, we were sold. We thought we had to buy a special bed, but we were pleased to learn that we did not. We love our new mattress and the adjustable bedframe is awesome. My back pain and leg pain have diminished greatly. We completed the sale with the purchase of two new pillows that have made our total sleeping experience so much better. Our overall experience with Mattress Firm was fantastic. I recommend Mattress Firm to anyone interested in purchasing an excellent quality bed at a very good price. DM. Berwick, PA

Valerie was so nice and informative. We had gone to several places and all the prices were pretty much in line. We decided to go with Mattress Firm because of the Knowledge Valerie had and shared. This was a big purchase and one that we most likely won’t be making again and I wanted all my questions answered and Valerie did that.

Went in with no expectations, left there feeling great about my purchase. Walter was so knowledgeable and professional, he asked questions about what I needed. Then based on the information I gave him, he led me in the right direction and we purchased on his recommendation. We will definitely be purchasing from Walter in the future. Thank you!
