Mavis Discount Tire, Palmyra PA

Greeted with kindness and great service didn’t have appointment and they fit me in thank you guys for the great service

The evening of Christmas, a good neighbor of mine pointed out that my driver-side break-lights were not working. Next day, the 26th (which is yesterday), I found most shops in the area were closed, but Mavis on 940 E. Main Street responded to my call and assured they'd be willing to replace the bulbs. I drove there. In less than five minutes, my car was "ready" and I was charged $63 and some cents. When I checked my car, it was the same as when I took it. I was told that four bulbs were replaced and that I have to take my car to a workshop to correct the wiring. Trust I laid on them, and drove back home, the problem yet unsolved. Early today, I took my car to another workshop. I stood by my car as the mechanic worked on correcting the problem. Surprisingly, all the bulbs that Mavis said they "replaced" were burned out. The mechanic replaced new bulbs right in front of my eyes and everything was corrected in 10 minutes. And, there was no wiring problem! I felt cheated. I called their HR who got me connected to the store manager. Long story short, I was reimbursed my money back, but my trust has been broken and when you break something, you may be able to repair, but the cracks will always remain!
I acknowledge that folks in workshops work hard, and I have tremendous respect for their services, but this particular incident couldn't be a human error, although the manager tried to explain it thus! I am writing this review to thank the HR person to act on this issue promptly, but more importantly to caution my fellow service seekers visiting Mavis Discount Tire located at 940 E. Main street, Palmyra to be careful!

Had an emergency tire repair on a Sunday. Tori and the technician were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. No high pressure sales and work was done fast. In and out in less than 30 minutes! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for tires or service in the Palmyra area.
