22I trained there today. The front desk girl was very helpful as well as all the instructors. I arrived a bit late and one of the instructors took the time to catch me up on the moves. All the other practitioners were kind. If you are in Philly this is a great place to roll!
Training at Maxercise has changed my life. After reaching my late 30s and getting bored with weightlifting, Maxercise introduced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu into my life and now I'm experiencing true passion again. I also have been taking the kettle bell class which has strengthened my core so that I can better perform the BJJ moves. The environment at this gym is very friendly and family oriented. Training gives me the opportunity to discover things about myself that benefit me both in the gym, as well as, in my personal life outside the gym.
One point that I must add is that my son and I both train together at Maxercise. What a bond that has been built between us, as now we have something in common beside being blood relatives. We actually can set goals and motivate each other in the same direction.
