M@c Discount - Beaver Falls reviews
20Was my first time there a they where very helpful and explained the whole process so that it was easy to understand. Thank you
Love the door man! Don't remember his name, but he always has a smile on his face and cracks jokes.
What a find M@C discount. Everything you returned to Amazon, Walmart etc at a fraction of the price. Can't stop bidding. Several locations in my area.
As a former employee of this location I advise all buyers to check your items before bidding. I have been directly instructed by Scott the store manager to remove return receipts that state items are broken so customers don’t see them. My job was to inspect each item before putting into the auction and I couldn’t tell you how many items that I put through that u couldn’t pay me to take but they look good so the customers assume they work well when they do not work a lot of the times at all. The biggest mistake the company made was hiring Scott as the store manager. He doesn’t value quality he only values what’s best for him not the company, the customer, or even his own employees
I've been to the Washington and the McKees Rocks locations and Beaver Falls is hands down the most organized one of the three!
Great customer care. Amazing staff. Great help whenever im in the store. Top notch business. David Taormina. Will use over and over. Love this place. David Taormina.
Buyer beware! The product descriptions are not accurate. "Open Box" could mean anything, it could be used, broken, not working and you're stuck with it. Lots of extra fees too, the price you bid is not the price you pay. I had two items that were "open box" one was broken in half, the other, an oven, was used and did not work. The manager told me that they don't have the time to check every single item in detail, I said, well it's your duty to and I was told I can come in and inspect the items prior to bidding. Who has time for that?
Buyers beware! I Was definitely ripped off.as I've heard along with many others. The few items that I bought, well more like 10 items that I bought.half of them were broke. I bought a vacuum cost $70.was probably a 5 year old vacuum that someone returned.it was most disgusting vacuum I've ever seen. They lost a good customer but nobody wants to be taken advantage of.please think twice before buying
I had 8 million questions (as I always do.) The manager was very helpful and patient to go over everything with me even with a line of people waiting. We have purchased some really cool items here, and you can open the boxes prior to bidding! Make sure you add insurance!
I won a rug from the Beaver Falls location and unfortunately it was the most disgusting thing I have ever bought. My bad that I couldn't go inspect it first, but Beaver Falls is pretty far from where I live, so I had it transferred to Butler. I would have been completely ok if this rug would have been salvageable at all, but it was disgusting. Animal hair and some other unknown substance all over it and it smelled like death! Luckily I spoke with Thaddeus at the Butler store and he was unbelievably pleasant and understood the situation and let me return the rug. Thank you again Thaddeus! I will definitely make sure my bids are on items from Butler as much as I can! E. Hall
Everyone there is very helpful and friendly better than the one in the Washington County this place is very organized
I love this one out of all of them because it convenient and the people are nice and organized. I always love the experience. Friendly people and great deals.
Checked in got in bay 5mins later. Truck was unloaded in about 25mins. BOL's were signed and I was rolling back down the highway. The staff was friendly and polite with smiling faces.
Called to speak to customer support to answer a few questions I had. I was pleased to be quickly greeted by an actual human who was very pleasant and informative. Good experience.
Absolutely terrible. They fraudulently charge your card on file. I waited over 24 hours for a response. Finally customer service contacted me but refused to connect me to management.
Any purchase is not worth the hassle.
I had a problem with merchandise from a different Mac warehouse, and Scott, one of the managers at Beaver Falls was accommodating and willing to make things right in order to keep the customer satisfied and coming back! I tend to order a lot of items from Mac auctions and the Beaver Falls folks always have my stuff on a pallet and ready to go! They are always smiling and a good group of people to work with! Thanks Scott for handling my returns!
A review for this business can be summed up in 2 words.
". Caveat Emptor. " What does this mean? The buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made. READ THE TERMS OF SALE before you bid! I would advise ANYONE that buys an item worth more than a few dollars to PURCASE BUYERS ASSURANCE. This is basically insurance so, if you discover after winning a bid the item has been severely used (*open box), is missing vital parts, broken or there is something basically wrong with the item, you can return it within 5 business days - no questions! There are genuinely some really good deals to be found at this business. However, there is also some unwelcome surprises (boxed-up junk!) hiding that will completely ruin your experience. Yes! You can go to the store and check the item. YES! You can cut the tape on an "open box" item and inspect it! DO IT! Make sure the item is OKAY BEFORE you make a costly mistake. The Staff? They are genuinely friendly and will help you find your items. Remember Caveat Emptor and you'll be fine.
The employees are friendly and willing to help, always have a few of them asking if I need help when looking for an item, everything is marked just have to pay attention to numbers, everything I have gotten so far has been good, if you have the time I would suggest checking out some of the items first just in case. I have gotten some great deals so far!
Picked up my online auction items. They were ready to go as I got there. Had no bad experience.
I have their membership and get my items transfered here. I like that you can go pick your own items. If you buy alot you get the hang of it and can get in and out. The staff is always helpful.
The items are good 95% of the time if you use a little judgement. You can inspect the items before bidding in the warehouse. If you don't have time you can get "buyer assurance" on some items for an extra 15%.
Long story short, if you are not too preferential and are patient you can save some money. I would inspect the items before I dropped more than $20.00 on anything.
Returns are only taken if the item is listed incorrectly (you buy a box containing a tennis racket and it's a frying pan).
