McDonald's, Altoona PA

Went through the drive thru with my mother-in-law. She ordered a large drink for herself and I got two large meals and a small thing of fries for me, my s/o and our daughter. The only thing they got right was the small fries. You could hear the lady who took the orders laughing and goofing off the whole time so I'm not surprised. They handed us my food and when I checked my receipt they had gotten my burgers wrong and they hadn't wrong my s/o order in as a large meal. They obviously knew they messed up because the girl at the window hurried up and handed my somewhat corrected order before closing the window. No mention of our drinks, we had to ask for our drinks to even get them and even then they tried to only give us one instead of the three we were owed. And then I realized that they never gave us the large fries for my s/o order. If your employee is going to just goof around and get customers orders that wrong and give them that much of a hassle when they ask for what they ordered then maybe they shouldn't be put in the drive thru.

They didn't give me my "free BigMac" with any purchase. When I walked all the way back, they told me Oooops, but I'd have to make ANOTHER purchase in order to get that "free BigMac with any purchase" after I had just redeemed and ordered that deal with my purchase of a small sandwich and french fries! What a gimmick that "deal" is. Really McDonald's? I went to Wendy's and got exactly what I ordered after I left your franchise. I believe I will get my fast-food at my local Wendy's instead of any McDonald's locations anywhere.

Clean, newer store, proper restrooms. Extremely rude staff, employee argued with a crippled customer who was confused about a return. Same employee then dropped an item as he handed it to another disabled person in a walker, he watched it hit the ground and walked away without helping a ADA disabled person, I picked up the item for the lady. Young employee doesn’t deserve to work in public anymore.

Messed up my sandwich and took a while to remake it but gave me a free slushy for my wait.which was nice

I would just like to start off by saying how friendly the staff is. Especially the blonde lady in the morning at the second window she is always so kind and making sure she’s handing out the correct order. My food was so delicious today and the McGriddle was so fresh off the grill and they made my iced coffee with light syrup which I really appreciate the accommodation because the iced coffees can be sweet. Keep up the good work!

We ordered from the kiosk when our food was brought to us the cups for the drinks was missing. Said something to lady but she kept walking away. So I went to the counter same lady I told her she forgot our two LG cups she said you need to ask him and pointed to the cashier who was busy with a line taking orders. He stopped what he was doing and helped me he was nice person. But the other coworker was no nice she wasnt doing anything besides standing there waiting for food.

There's a bunch of McDonald's in this town this is the one to avoid. There's two within 5 minutes of driving in either direction which I recommend doing this is the McDonald's in Altoona everybody should avoid lazy ignorant slow workers 95% of the time something is missing or completely wrong and they don't understand how to fix the problem

Making mistakes and then telling me I should drive from Greenwood back to this McDonald's for them to correct my order, NOPE. I check my order before I leave, if using the drive thru, and I will only use my card. The last time I used cash, they called me a list, had to pull the register tray, and count it. Fine, you do that, but no apology, just here's your change back. And they weren't gonna give me fresh food, I asked for it since I didn't take the food from the drive thru. I told them I wanted fresh food and I wasn't leaving until I got it. Really a cold big mac, fries and nuggets!

Staff is wonderful, but they have their hands full with juveniles after school. Most of the kids are decent, but a few unruly ones ruin the experience for many.

I have been coming here for many years, and fortunately they have really got their act together! Over the years, they have improved in properly trained management and staff; which makes the overall experience much more appealing! I hope they continue to improve the menu, so that everyonecan find entree's that they can enjoy! Also, breakfast items should be served 24/7; as well as burgers/chicken menu! People want to eat whatever they want, when ever they want!? ! Times have changed; and menus need to change with the times!

It is always hit or miss if the coffee is good or the fries are old. But this is fast food in general.

Ordered 20 pic chicken nuggets and fried. The nuggets we not cooked cold slimy and tasted raw neither were the fries I call and the so called manager asked me what I wanted her to do. What is so had to cook the food till it's cooked and edible. These ones were not Not the first time this has happened. Will not go back.

This McDonald's used to scare me. The food was a punching bag for workers who didn't want to be there. BUT NOW the staff are super friendly and the food looks normal.

This place is no good they ignore orders they give you cold food they mess up the orders all the time

Ordered one 10 piece chicken nugget on my app for curbside pickup waited over 20 minutes then walked inside and asked the cashier which was rude if she could find out what happened with my nugget she found somebody then they went to check and they hadn't even made it they just ignored it because they were out of 10-piece containers so they didn't think they could put it in a four piece and a piece container which is ridiculous I wouldn't even have noticed

My order is wrong frequently but that doesn't change the quality. Never had anything cold or bad. Employees are kind and professional.
