17When did quarter pounders start coming in pieces? My family ordered multiple quarter pounders, and each one was broken into pieces…not just like being cut into halves, but my particular one came in 6 pieces of varying sizes! Makes me wonder if they just pulled the pieces out of the trash and put them onto the bun like a jigsaw puzzle! Absolutely ridiculous that someone can’t slide a spatula under a burger of any size and flip a burger without mutilating it! Their response…waste our time and money traveling back to get a free replacement! Absolutely no care in any way about their performance!
We went though the drive-thru the other night right after the high school football game. It was an hour before close. The line was long and I was pleased to find the order was perfect, the food was hot and done correctly even with a special request. The kids were hustling and did a great job. We did have a wait but that was to be expected with the flood of customers. I just wanted to let the team know they did a great job.
Where to begin? First, why can’t they ever turn the outside lights on? It makes the parking lot very dark, un-safe, and un-inviting. The staff is extremely hit or miss. A few of them are nice and courteous but most seem like the customers are an annoyance. You may as well order a small fry. Even large orders contain about the same size. Pull the container from the bag and hold it up and Atleast 90% of the time it will look like an empty box. The amount of salt is usually ridiculous as well. You will wait for an extremely long time regardless the line. If there are already 3-4 cars expect to be Atleast 25-30 minutes. Not to sound rude but whoever puts the sandwiches together needs some extra target practice. Rarely will it be a presentable sandwich. I don’t expect what the pictures display when ordering but Atleast have the burger inside the roll. (Although sometimes I am glad they put meat on it period… I have had numerous burgers where a triple became a double and a double became a single and have even had sandwiches that were a vegetarian delight because it contained no meat at all). Drinks are always sloppy with soda running down the sides… the carrier for drinks is so flimsy I ask for 2 of them so they hand hold 4 large drinks. Maybe I am also just old school but courtesy is becoming a rare thing. When leaving and I say “thank you” very rarely will I get a response and if I do it’s usually a “sure thing” or “you betcha” or a similar phrase. Make sure to get a receipt! You will need it. Check your order before you leave and expect to have to go in and try to get your order correct. Of course by the time they correct your order the rest of the family has either already eaten or have waited on you to return and they now have cold meals. Definitely not a family friendly atmosphere that asks for its customers to return. Oh, why all the parking places for customers to pull up and wait for their order when they are never asked to do so.
Food is nearly always on point but prices are just getting out of control for burgers and fries. Service is also ridiculously slow.
Slowest McDonald's in the East. Sat in line for over 30 minutes and when I got to the window they handed me my food but forgot all of the drinks. So I had to wait for them to make all of our drinks. It was a small order for only three and I was only the fourth person in line. Don't come here if you need to go somewhere quick and need a quick bite
Go to another exit this is One of the worst McDonald's in Pennsylvania for being slow & cold food not even being your food. The young kids that work there are smart mouths like the Hagerstown, Maryland garland groh McDonald's that you need to go to another exit there too. They are within miles apart on interstate 81. Today was a nice young lady here.
Greencastle mcds is really going down hill can even get the order correct come on man 3 mcdoubles on mc chicken and large fries how hard was this order missing 2 of my sandwiches just saying!
There was a earring in my milk shake and I called about and they hang up multiple times being very disrespectful
When's the Hamburgler's birthday?
I don't think I want a prison shake, but if we celebrate Barney (as I grimace) then we should celebrate all the characters.
Service was very slow even with just 2 cars in the drive thru
Customer service was bland.no Hello.no Thank you.just handed the order & didnt say a word.
Customers in lobby are ignored i had to wait over 20 minutes for a double quarter pounder and med fry with no reason or appoligy but the drive thru was serviced fast will not be stopping here ever again and will advise people to never go there
Did a quick drive-thru to have something to eat on my drive back to Virginia. My quarter pounder with cheese was so good and hot but sadly the fries were not hot, but still edible.
The food was just ok. Ridiculous amount of salt on the fries. And I'm not talking like the normal amount of salt you expect on McDonald's fries. Easily double or triple that. I paid 2 dollars for extra bacon and got 1 piece. Even though my receipt says and I was billed for 2 "3 half strips of bacon". My daughter ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup only and received a cheeseburger with everything instead. All in all. An average experience from McDonald's
Back when I grew up in Greencastle, this was a good place to grab a bit but not no more. Visited 5-20 at around 6: 30pm. Screwed couples order in front of us first off. My fries were soggy and my wife received a cup of ice cream with a cone on top vs the cone of ice cream she ordered. A guy spilt a tray of drinks behind us as we waited and no one came to clean it up. Didn't see anyone that resembled they were "of age" working. Late teens at best.
Spent about 1/2 hour in drive thru. Longest wait for a fast food service I have experienced. Not fast food by any means.
I ordered an egg mcmuffin with bacon but received ham. I'm a truck driver so I had to walk back across the busy road from the truckstop to get what I asked for. The manager apologized and corrected the mistake without issue or attitude.
It's McDonalds what more can you say? Pretty slow for being right off the highway, great for us.no wait
