McKean Community Recreational Park reviews
9Very nice and well maintained park. The trails are very accessible and this would be a great place for people of all ages.
Nice walking trail around perimeter of soccer fields, picnic pavilions, baseball and restrooms.
Went there to walk my dog. Pulled in. Gave her a drink and finished mine.before we got out a woman showed up with an unleashed dog and proceeded down the walk and allowed it to do it's business without cleaning it up.sign clearly says "police your dog. Leash it and clean up after it. " Guessing from looks of her she can read.so guess she's above leashes or cleaning up after her dog.so I cannot walk mine with worry of another dog attacking mine or getting bit by mine since mine was leashed it would be her fault.but since I'm not from around here I'm sure she would have more clout on a lawsuit in this town.
Mckean park is well tended. There are picnic shelters, bathrooms, sport fields, great walking trail and plenty of parking. There are many Pokemon stops and gyms too.
The thing I like best is that the trails they have made are the trails that we blazed when we were children.
Clean, quiet, well-maintained, plenty of parking.it would be nice if there was a restroom closer to the shelters.
Great local park. Only negative is they don't mow the grass often enough so it's usually too high or clumps of grass everywhere.
Beautiful park with tons of parking, a great playground, tons of different fields for different sports, and a paved track for parents to walk around as the kids practice or play!
Nice quiet place with picnic shelters and walking trails. My boys used to love coming here with their bicycles when they were younger.
