MedExpress Urgent Care, Murrysville PA

I was seen by Dr. Jessica, I'm not sure what her last name was, but she was amazing. Took her time with me and listened to what was wrong. She gave me an excuse from work that evening due to being sick and being super concerned about my lymph nodes swelling and blocking my airways.
My health was not any better the following day and my lymph nodes were still super swollen. I was scheduled to work that night in a kitchen handling people's food. So I called to see if I could get an excuse from work and the doctor that was there was super rude and would not give me an excuse. He said that he did not care that my lymph nodes were swollen and that I was going to a restaurant touching people's food still contagious. Dr. Jessica was super concerned about my health and well being while the Indian doctor on the phone could care less and said so in so many words.
Would not recommend this MedExpress.

I had a very good experience with getting covid tested today. They were quick in getting me in and the male nurse who did my test was very kind.

Went there today when my PCP could not see me on short notice.
Got seen in a reasonable timeframe.
Staff was friendly and thorough.
Very satisfied and relieved!

Furthermore during the height of the pandemic our company sent many employees to this location because they were the better and cheaper than all other locations we encountered.

Actually, in a very stressful time this location stood tall.
They really should be awarded!
I am quite sure it was not easy also!

Don't come here waited over 2 hours in side with 3 people here place is the worst never come here

Got here and was told to wait in my car and keep calling in. Waited almost an hour trying to get a hold of them. The number is either busy or when you do get through they don't answer the phone! I ended up walking in and the girls at the front desk were just sitting there doing nothing! They are not busy at all so don't let the owner try telling you otherwise. This place is very unprofessional and I also see that I'm not the only person with this issue. Avoid this place! I ended up going to ICare right down the road thanks to another reviewer on here and had a great experience.

My son stopped there for a negative Covid test so he could fly back to Canada and asked them what test he would need so they said you need this one. Turns out they were totally wrong and have no idea what was needed to re enter Canada. If you guys don’t know what’s what that’s fine but don’t stand around pretending that you do. He was minutes away from missing his flight and costed him another $275 on top of the $190 at your shop. Nice work guys.

Sad excuse for urgent care. I get there's covid and people also have other illnesses. They open at 8. We were in parking lot 7: 45 waiting. Still in parking lot 8: 44. NO ONE will answer the phone. SAD! Atleast answer and tell me something.
So we left and went to ICare

Got there at 9: 00 a.m. Sign on door said unless it's an emergency- have to wait in car and call a number posted to arrange my appointment.did that - was grilled why I was there.explained I had MOHS surgery on a ankle area 2 weeks prior by my dermatologist at Shadyside Medical Bldgs.in Shadyside.had to explain what that surgery is.she asked why I didn't see my surgeon - told her it's further away and MedXpress is in our backdoor, so to speak.she asked if I had a PCP - told her yes- but he isn't in today.put me on hold - came back on and told me that the doctor wouldn't see me. 'HE WILL NOT SEE ME TO CHECK THE WOUND TO SEE IF IT MIGHT BE INFECTED? And the wait time if they would have taken me was 2-1/2 hrs.and it only opened at 8: 00 a.m. VERY POOR SERVICE. NEVER AGAIN. AT THIS SITE. GAVE ONE STAR IN ORDER TO POST MY RANT. THEY ARE NOT WORTH ONE STAR.

I had to visit this MedExpress to get a TB test for employment and I give the staff at this location SO much credit. I was thankful I wasn't waiting to see the doctor because the entire parking lot was full of people waiting all four times I had to go in. The staff was kind from the check-in process and every step of the way. You can tell how hard they're all working doing the absolute best they can with the demand and with the staffing they have. When I asked about the general wait time they were up front each time. I was thankful I visited here, it was a quick and smooth process.

We come to this location frequently when we need quick care and also physical forms for athletics. The staff is not the friendliest and don’t really provide the comfort that a medical facility should. However, the Physicians and the PAs are much friendlier. The exam is quick and not really detail oriented, but that is to be expected with an express service. There is a ridiculous long wait, but that is more recent and likely as a result of COVID.

They tell you to call to register but they don't even have the courtesy to give you an estimated wait time, sit in the parking lot for an hour and still no call what a waste of time. They could at least let you know an idea of how long it's going to be.

Look at how bad the reviews of this location are I mean everyone gets some bad reviews but this is almost every one! Compare it to other locations and Urgent Care Centers there's definitely a problem going on here.

I visited here Wednesday around 6pm and it took two hours waiting as they got couple of emergencies though the staff was very friendly and the nurse was very nice. Dr Patel saw me and he was very nice and did a check up. Very pleased with the experience

Very rude staff and disrespectful. I needed a covid test and seen the employees laughing and joking not doing there job.

My husband went in yesterday with a very red and swollen thumb. After waiting about 3 hours to be seen, he was sent home with an antibiotic. No X-ray, and the dr spent a whole 30 seconds with him. Don’t bother!

They forgot him in the room soaking and cleaning his cut on his hand, and then when they realized they forgot about him, they told him there was nothing they could do because he soaked it for too long.and then they sent him home with tools to fix his cut himself.complete waste of time and ridiculous in my opinion.

Have to call the wait forever. Extremely lazy and unprofessional front office staff. Go anywhere else.
