MedExpress Urgent Care reviews
16Went to Med Express in Natrona Heights on Saturday am. I was told it would be an hour wait. After 2 1/2 hrs went by I went and asked what was going on. They said they had an emergency and only had one Dr on duty. They were waiting on an ambulance. Another hour went by until the ambulance arrived. When I finally went back they apologized and the dr said how ridiculous it was that she is the only one on duty on a Saturday and she was not happy about it. They need to schedule better!
If I could give them 0 stars I would I have had horrible customer service the receptionist are rude and outrageous especially the girl that does check out! DO NOT GO HERE THEY DO NO CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS!
Good reception, prompt service (for a walk-in clinic.) There were about three or four people in before us and they got to us withing 25 minutes or so. The Nurse Practitioner Switlick was professional and informative.
Bad enough service that i finally got a general practitioner. My husband got covid and just needed a note (after the antibodies were detected in a test) saying he had it and couldn't talk on the phone for coughing. They wrote "should rest his voice" which wasn't accepted (as he warned it wouldn't be) and now he's called multiple times and they've just given him the run-around. What would it cost them to write a note? Nothing! What could it cost him? His job!
I had been too busy with work to schedule a new GP since our old one was retiring, but after this i did immediately. Don't use unless it's an emergency, and even then you've been warned
My daughter and I sick with same symptoms for 2 weeks of being sick, currently coughing up pleghm/mucus, 2-3 hour wait time and $50 later, just a quick glance/listen, no tests, or anything, just for them to say with out saying it, that since we aren't sick enough they aren't giving us antibiotics because there's a shortage and they're saving it for more serious cases. Thanks for nothing! A waste of time and money. PS it's 5am and we're both up having coughing fits. Update: we've been having a coughing fit for an hour now.
I don’t understand why this place is even in business. They don’t have any testing? No flu. No RSV. They essentially just look at you and tell you they can’t help you after. You are better off going somewhere else or to the emergency room.
Their website is falsely advertising.
I was quite surprised I was in and out within 30 minutes. Had a lung infection and my PCP could not see me for 11 days! I was told to go to MedExpress. So I'm on my way to recovery.
Don’t get me wrong, the people here are wonderful & I’ve never had a problem with them! But when I wait in the waiting room for an hour for a PHYSICAL, then there’s a problem…
That nurses are very nice. But other that that it is awful that lady that seen my had me feeling that I am Stupid and did not lessen to how I was feeling she was very rushed. I feel like I was a complete inconvenience to her.
From the moment I was greeted by the receptionist, to the nurse taking my vital statistics into the medical person who took care of me, I felt welcome. The entire experience was terrific and there is not one thing I can complain about. Caring, loving, nurturing, helpful.all these attributes were abundantly evident.
I went to MedExpress Urgent Care, Tarentum, PA because of a rash on my face. Everyone was polite and thorough, starting with the two women at the front desk, the nurse who took my vitals, and the PA Dani who treated me. She was an excellent PA, very knowledgeable, professional and took time to explain the details of my diagnosis and the different options for treatment. I was in and out of the office in an hour.
First time they actually did something for me. Don't go if you have breathing problems just send you to ER. Will take xray of hurt ankle though.
Staff was so patient and kind with my grandmother yesterday. Particularly the x ray tech. Very cautious, patient, and kind. Would definitely recommend
I went in at 7: 30 yesterday paid my copay and was waiting to be seen. Someone came out and told me the X-ray machine was not working and I should go to harmer er. I was never evaluated or seen just told they would see me at harmer. I was told I wouldn’t have a copay. I ended up going to harmer but had to pay 150.00 co pay on top of the 35.00 copay to med express. The staff was extremely friendly and I understand they have no control over the equipment failure. I just wish they would have given me correct information before sending me somewhere else. I also realize it’s my responsibility to be familiar with my insurance and I will make sure I do my research before excepting someone’s word in the future
Pat and Sam were very polite and professional! They made the whole experience so smooth and hassle free. This building is super clean and welcoming. Thank you so much for all your help! I will be back to this location for my emergency or lab work needs!
