I will never be returning to MedExpress. I highly suggest going to the ER for serious symptoms instead of this place. I've been sick with Strep-like symptoms for a week, fever of 100+ for a week straight, and horrible pain. I've lost 10 lbs from not being able to eat anything. I went to Med Well first and they said I had a virus. I went to Med Express to see if Med Well missed something. The staff was less than welcoming and acted like I was a nuisance. I asked if my mother was able to come back with me because I was on the verge of passing out, and they told me no because I'm over 18. However, they let an elderly couple go back together. The Dr I saw basically sent me out the door saying I had a virus before examining me. I told him I've had a fever for a week, and he didn't seem to care. So, I basically spent $50 for them to treat me horribly and send me home in pain. Don't waste your time.

The wait is absolutely outrageous, I was the for a tb test that took five minutes to do and I waited an hour for them to call me back.

All the staff were so friendly from check in to check out and everyone we came across in between. They were welcoming and was able to treat both my daughter and I in a really good time! The wait time was also quick!

I was very pleased with Dr Myers… amazing Dr.however the meds he prescribed me I was highly allergic to. (not his fault). I wish there were more Drs like him.

I went in and told them upfront that I was having trouble sleeping and was just hoping to get a prescription for Ambien. They took my info and called me back, where I was met by a surly, overweight doctor who asked me if I'd tried melatonin. I said I had, and he asked how much. I said, "Oh, I don't remember exactly. 20mg? " He gruffly replied "That's TOO much! " (I just said I wasn't sure of the dosage) and then informed me that they didn't treat chronic conditions and dismissed me. I left empty handed and was charged $150.

Wow! The walls were so thin I could hear every word in the exam rooms next door to mine and they were talking in a normal tone. Isn't that a HIPAA violation?
That lady PA was VERY discourteous and harsh. The medical assistants showed poor customer service in that they rushed through their little tasks and didn't even look at me. Robots & herded cattle came to mind.
The counter staff was the nicest. They actually made an effort at customer care.

Just wanted to say thank you to every staff member that were so kind and got me fixed up quickly. Had developed strep throat quickly, and it was very painful. Everyone was so kind, tried to make me speak as little as possible, and got me the right treatment fast. I say this because as I write this, the swelling and pain have gone down tremendously just from this morning.

Very nice facility. Front office staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. However, the provider was extremely short to the point where I couldn't even finish answering his questions before he cut me off and asked the next one. Felt like I was on an assembly line and my concerns weren't properly addressed. If you're looking for great customer service, I would look elsewhere.

I was treated great. I only had to wait a few minutes to be seen also. The x-ray, diagnosis and treatment plan were given to me and I am pleased with their care. SO pleased with my air cast, It decreased my pain.

Horrible I was there yesterday 2-6-23 I have a horrible sinus infection the Dr. I seen didn't believe it was allergies and tried ordering me steroids which I have a reaction to instead of trying to give me something else I can take she just sent me home with nothing biggest waste of my time and money. I am now going to see my PCP today because I feel like I'm dying. I will go to other urgent care in the future or suffer till I see my pcp. This is the last Med Express will ever see me or any one of my family. Extremely disappointed in the care I received.

My 20 yr old daughter was refused service Monday evening AS SHE STRUGGLED TO BREATHE and the staff were less than courteous. Upon arrival (20 minutes before close) there was a issue with her insurance card so she called my husband and had them talk to him. Well this did not sit well with the front desk person, who gave all the attitude like I was stopping her from going home. After about 20 mins of trying to process the insurance information incorrectly.the front desk agent told my daughter that they were all leaving and she could not be seen! If all of your staff members are not up to date with how to input dependents insurance information into the system you need to hold a class! NOT ONCE DID THIS EMPLOYEE ASK FOR MY HUSBANDS DOB! Which would have solved the issue! The insurance is listed under his name! The next day my daughter went to Icare and was received with a warm concerning greeting and taken care of immediately with no insurance issues! SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH SEVERE BRONCHITIS AND DOUBLE INFECTIONS. SAME ON YOU and your disrespectful incompetent staff member that refused service to my child.

I’m very upset that I can’t get the results of my drug test because the employer paid for them. That should be highly against the law to withhold someone’s medical record information regardless who paid for it!

My husband was there because he had the flu really bad. He has insurance but his co pay was 80 dollars. Fast forward a month later and they took 221 dollars out of his checking account without any notice or sending a bill in the mail because they said his insurance wasn't in network. So he pretty much was charged over 300 for a 15 minute office visit! You people are a rip off and I wouldn't recommend anyone going there who can't afford it! Check first to make sure your insurance is in network or they will charge you. Pathetic! He will go to medwell before ever walking through your doors again

Overall time spent there was fast and to the point but being told I might have cancer was a scary moment. Told I need to follow up immediately with the ER or a specialist, so same day went to ER to find out, a kidney stone and a small infection. 3 days later medexpress calls to say I have no infection, I told him what was wrong and he with an attitude said oh ok and hung up‍️ if you hate your job find another line of work

Being the veteran I am I went here (Medexpress) to this location because the VA asked if I could make here before they closed at 8pm. I checked in the nurses were very nice and inquisitive. However the Dr came in with an attitude which caused me to have a slight attitude too. I’m the one hurting he made me feel very uncomfortable and I will be letting the Veterans Administration know my experience. I will not be returning to this location again. He probably thought I was some black guy from off the streets. Nope!
I’ve been a business owner in Johnstown over 10 years and I’m always upbeat and happy!

Went in for a quick pre employment drug screening and I was immediately turned down. The lady at the desk said I was too late and they don’t do any drug screenings after 6pm. Super inconvenient for people who work in the medical field on 12 hour shifts. They had a ton of signs on the door about no X-rays and restrictions they should add no drug testing after 6pm. Not a good experience.

The level of care…concern…and the professionalism was top notch…

I am highly disappointed, I was seen yesterday because I am super sick. I had a 100.1 fever at home, chills, throwing up, congestion, and sore throat. Basically thought I had the flu or a bad sinus infection. I’m miserable. I waited all that time and wasted my money for the doctor to come in and tell me to gargle with salt water and take advil. Totally acted like I was fine when everyone else knew I felt horrible. What kind of place does that. Do not go here if you’re sick because you won’t be taken seriously.

I can actually say everyone there is a blessing and a pleasure the nurses dr and rexeptionist are a pleasure even if they are slammed packed I was there and all 20 patients were in and out in no time so dr was on a roll.thanks medexpress
