MedExpress Urgent Care, Lancaster PA

Terrible service I had an appointment for 9AM and 1 hour later still sitting in waiting room it’s now 1&3/4 hours and still not done waiting for a nurse

Grossly understaffed.expect 2-3hr wait for ANY appointment or walk-in. Go somewhere else. 0/5 service.

I came in on a Tuesday around 8: 20 am to get a TB test done. Typically something that takes about 5 minutes at most. I was here until 10 am. I was told to return in 48 hours or more for my test results to be read. I came on Thursday during the day and was told that there is no way to make an appointment online to not wait for getting a TB test read and I would need to sit and wait for over an hour for a nurse to look at my arm and tell whether my TB results were negative or positive. I did not appreciate the attitude from the front desk worker as I asked for help and received disrespect back towards me. I would rather be on my death bed than ever come to this so called ‘URGENT / EXPRESS care’ ever again! If you are seriously sick go somewhere else! There is a reason this location has a 2.4 star rating.

I set up an appointment to get checked out because I was sick. It took over 3 hours to see the doctor. After waiting 3 hours the nurse couldnt even bother to make sure i wasn't in the lobby (I had headphones in.) What this is by far the longest I've ever waited at an urgent care and every other time has been a walk-in. If you need care go somewhere else. On a positive note the Doctor was very friendly, but not enough to warrant a 3 hour wait.

Do not waste your time coming to this location. I have been here for about 3 hours and told it would be at least another 1hr to be seen. I just needed to get my vitals checked for a pre-workout. This should NOT take 4 or more hours. I call concentra (1 block north), and they can see me immediately. I got a refund and went over. FYI, I waited less than 5 min at concentra, and I'm already on my way home. DO NOT COME TO THIS MEDEXPRESS!

The last time I was in there was a long wait since I was a walk in and I was told to make an appointment in the future. This time I made an appointment for 11: 00 and checked in at 10: 45. There were four people in the waiting room when I got there.

At 1: 00 I was still in the waiting room and got the strength up to walk back up to the desk. I asked how much longer the wait was since my appointment was two hours ago and I was told there was still one person ahead of me so they couldn’t say. She said it would be at least 30 more minutes.

At 2: 10 I was finally taken back to the triage area where I then was put into a room and was told the doctor was running behind and would be with me in about 20 minutes.

Luckily I had already called off of work and had nothing else scheduled for the day, but I just think it is unacceptable to offer to schedule appointments if you aren’t going to actually use them.

I understand that there can be a wait if you are a walk in, but the purpose of scheduling an appointment is so you can be seen at that time. This whole experience was very unprofessional, especially when individuals are sick.

Dr. Newman is timely and great with our son. Answered all my husband's questions. Thank you so much!

Theresa was the best part of the trip. I got there at 730 for an 8am appointment. One of the only actual appointments and i didnt even get called back until 913am. For a 5 minute drug test. Limiting how much I have to go to urgent care after that one but thank you Theresa (Radiology Tech] for making it better.

This place is horrible. I'm coming up on 3 hrs to wait for something simple. I do not recommend this place at all. You're better off driving the few extra miles and going to a minute clinic

Where do i start? I had a SCHEDULED appointment at 8am. I was in parking lot at 730am for a pre-employment test. I wouldve been better of being a walk-in. My bladder was on fire by the time they saw me at 912am. They weren't even busy. I could only imagine if i came around 3pm as a walk-in. Probably be faster. Theresa was very apologetic so it made the trip better.

I try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but I should have listened to the reviews. It is very understaffed. Appointments do not matter, according to the staff. I’ve been waiting over an hour and I’m still waiting. It’s not very crowded either. The waiting room is very warm. They also take emergencies, not just Urgent Care- so if one comes in you get pushed back further.

Don’t waste your time. Appointments don’t matter. They take emergencies and everyone here waiting before you regardless. One front desk person, one nurse, one doctor.

My little daughter was sick and they did take good care of her. The wait was short and the care was excellent I do recommended this urgent care

The staff was wonderful however scheduling an appointment online was misleading. My appointment was for 11 but i wasn’t seen til an hour and a half-2 hours later

The worst place to go. There is no urgency for care. We are here to get stiches. They were the closest place. We should have gone somewhere else.

Almost 2 hours for a drug test. I came to MedExpress Rohrerstown because it was the closest to my house, with only 2 people in the waiting room I waited around 2 hours for a preliminary drug test to start a new job. I will never visit this place again. If you are looking to go to a place where they serve you quickly and in an efficient way, this is not the place. 0 recommendations

Although the site says, walk-ins are always welcome, I was turned away an hour before closing.

Very friendly staff, knowledgeable, asked all the right questions and did all tests necessary to find the best treatment for my condition, and underlying conditions.

Came here bc my son needed school physical and pediatrician was fully booked. Was told over the phone that school physicals were offered and scheduling appt was recommended. Scheduled appt for today at 4pm. Several people in waiting room, some scheduled and some not. It is now 6pm and we are still in waiting room. People with no scheduled appt were taken back before us. Scheduling is pointless. Also ridiculous to have ONE provider in a large capacity facility like this. Do better
