MedExpress Urgent Care, Wilkes-Barre Township PA

Med Express in Wilkes-Barre is a five star medical facility for urgent care. The front office employee who checked me in was professional, courteous and knowledgeable, as well as very pleasant!
All of the staff on 7/27/23 were exceptional. I was examined by Karolina Levesque, NP. Her exam was more thorough than my PCP one month earlier. She is not only knowledgeable in her medical field, she has compassion for her patients! I highly recommend her, she truly cared about my concerns, and I am finally feeling better! I give her five stars! I thank you Karolina, for getting to the route of my illness!

I've been to medExpress Urgent Care multiple times and my most recent time was the best. The receptionist, nurse and doctor were all great and very easy to talk to.

We did not know that they started the online scheduling, but the receptionist was kind and patient. She was not irritated or apathetic. She spoke with professionalism and politeness. It was a welcome change from other urgent care experiences.
Dr. Karolina was kind, no nonsense, and personable. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

I've had good and bad experiences there. But compared to other options, this is the best place to go. I was in and out within an hour today and everyone was very helpful and friendly.

I checked in at 8: 38 am. At 10: 00 am, I left without having been seen by the doctor. I said to the nurse that I just couldn't wait anymore and then they told me there was only one provider. I said, that's okay, I just have another obligation and cannot wait, at which point I got attitude about them not treating emergencies. It was not an emergency. A 1.5 hour wait without any communication is simply unacceptable. And the customer service is atrocious.

Absolutely the best Urgent Care visit ever. Clean, welcoming, caring and considerate. Greeted with a smile and friendly, polite staff.
Caroline was wonderful, not rushed, and genuine. I registered, was examined, prescribed and out the door in 45 minutes!
Hopefully not necessary again, but if needed, I will definitely visit this Urgent Care. A breath of fresh air!

Great Service a lot of jokes were made about my symptoms by one doctor there. Unprofessional on her end, but minus that my experience was fast quick and affordable

I went for a physical and everyone was friendly, nurses were amazing and kind. Doctor was incredible and asked all the questions she needed to ask very sweet. The one receptionist was so kind and welcoming but the other not so much. But still going to give 5 stars no need to give less stars because of one person.

Thank you helping me with pains meds until I was able to go to the orthopedic surgeon to get a cortisone shot. It was a relief!

The doctor and nurses are all so nice their. They try their best to help you in any way that they can and even try to put a smile on your face. I recommend them to everyone.

At 7: 27pm, I took my child to this location because he hurt his wrist. Unfortunately, i forgot my license and my son's insurance card, trying to come here on time. I asked if I could run home and grab my insurance card and the receptionist with the brown reddish hair told me they were closing at 8. She was rude and non pleasant. I have been here before and I've always had a pleasant experience, but to my surprise, I was turned around.

Probably the quickest I've been in and out of one of these urgent cares in my life. The staff is very nice and get you taken care of so you can get on with your life.

I’m newish to the area and was suggested I go here because what I thought to be a sprained ankle was starting to hurt 2 weeks after the accident occurred. I got there just before 5pm and was out just an hour later. That’s not the best part though. Within that hour, I was met with and treated by some of the nicest, most polite and understanding caretakers! I was attended to, x-rayed, spoken to about the situation and splinted up and set up for further specialist care. I did actually fracture my ankle and they did a wonderful job. Next day everything happened as they said it would and I was even given an alternative follow-up place to go since the original orthopedic couldn’t schedule me in until after the holiday weekend. I literally got treated and taken care of all within 24hr of showing up here! That’s some good stuff and I cannot be happier. Special thanks to the caretaker who wheeled me out to my car and and got me all situated to get myself home! Lovely people from beginning to end!
