MedExpress Urgent Care reviews
16Not sure why i even wasted $30 on a copay. The dr didnt even feel my glands or look up my nose or feel under my eyes. Told me to schedule a telehealth apt in 2 weeks if im not feeling better. But good thing my flu test was negative she said im not an md and knew before i was tested that it wasnt the flu. 2 days later i go to the minute clinic and was prescribed medicine for a sinus infection.
Said they accept walk-ins but when I walked in at 1: 15 they told me to come back at 2: 45. Not a big deal because I live close and I had someone to drive me that wasn’t on a time crunch. The care I received was good they addressed my problems and listened to what I had to say. And they gave me a mini bottle of water!
Great experience at this urgent care! The communication was clear and efficient, ensuring a short wait time. Even when an emergency came in, they checked in with me frequently and made sure I was being seen as promptly as possible. The staff was not only kind but also very knowledgeable. Highly recommend for quick and caring service!
It's great that this location takes appointments. But I had an official appointment last Friday at 10am and wasn't seen for an intake until 11am, and not seen by the PA until 11: 15. I was told that there was only one person seeing patients that day (a PA) and also that MedExpress is now requiring their locations to pack in more patients seen per hour (they need to see six patients an hour instead of the previous four). I'm not sure how they're going to do that - a MedExpress appointment system isn't sustainable if there's only one doctor seeing patients (with walk-ins, too).
When I politely voiced my disappointment over this experience, the staff urged me to submit feedback on it when I received a post-visit follow-up email from MedExpress - which directed me here. I'm satisfied with the care I received, but really disappointed in the appointment system with the lack of staffing.
Horrible case of pneumonia, the people here couldn't even catch that and said it was fine and now hospitalized lol
All staff members worked extremely hard to help as many people as possible as quickly as possible. They were also very up-front and transparent about wait times with regard to the volume of people there needing care. When I finally got to see Meredith Easterling, PA, she was thorough and attentive, listened to me and answered my questions, even though she had a lot of patients to deal with that day. I am grateful for their kindness and their help, and I would visit that office again without hesitation if I needed immediate care.
So fast, efficient & kind! The girl at the desk was so sweet & helpful! Bradley was so awesome with my 6 yr old! In and out very fast & problem solved!
I wanted to reach out and thank the provider staff at MedExpress in Aspinwall! They went into action when my son was having breathing difficulty and delivered the necessary treatment to stabilize him for the hospital:) He has recovered nicely and their intervention was a big part of that - Thanks y'all
Nurses/ med assists were very unprofessional. I was asked my weight, when I told them the guy nurse made a face to woman nurse as if I was lying: when I went back I heard them in the hall saying I was a little heavier than I said.so I went to the hall and asked to be weighed, I was 4 pounds less than what I told them (i weigh weekly so I knew I was close) I was upset but didn’t say much because I could barely breathe! Sick! Chest hurting! Already waited over 2 hrs to be seen patiently! Why lie about my weight to a man twice my size? Why was that the focus of my care? Anyways the DR/PA was amazing! Thanks to her for being caring and professional, more of that is needed
The intake woman checking insurance cards was very friendly and compassionate. The initial health professional had a pleasant manner and was thorough with questions. Jessi, PA was very nice, considerate and compassionate! It was a pleasant experience when I was at my worst.
Made an appointment for a physical for my daughter to get her driver's permit. We got in and out very quickly and everyone was extremely friendly and kind. Great experience.
I was struggling with a dental infection and unable to get into a dentist for an emergency appointment-every person I talked to at MedExpress was so kind, a great listener, and quick to get me in an out. I did not wait more than two minutes from getting into the exam room to being seen by a PA to getting my prescription taking care of at check out. I will definitely come back if I need to make an urgent care trip in the future!
This place is a scam. Husband went after being sick for weeks and now having pink eye. When first visited around 1 pm they told him to return at 3: 45. When we returned, Doctor took temp and visually looked in the back of his throat and said yeah nothing back there, could be anything with all the respiratory things going around. Doctor did not listen to his lungs. Did not do a covid test. Did not do a strep test even after explaining he had a sore throat, and has been coughing up mucus all night for several nights and had fever the previous night of 101.25. Issued eye ointment but did nothing for other symptoms. I called and complained, and they offered for him to come back for a swab. I plan to call corporate to address the issue and lack of care.
Wonderful experience at the MedExpress in Fox Chapel. They were fast, efficient, and courteous. Not great to be sick, but if you need medical attention, I highly recommend this facility.
Every time I'm here they're massively understaffed with doctors and making an appointment is totally pointless because you'll still wait an hour and half past your check in time because there's so many other people waiting. Also besides 1 person the doctors don't seem to be very good at this.
Now they're telling me that I owe them money, but also that they can't see what from? That's pretty strange. Overall it's not like there's many better options but I'd find another location if you have the choice.
Great care, clean facility, efficient and quick process from check in to checkout. Jessica, Bradley and Jess were all caring and made my experience smooth.
