10 Stars and a Lot of Appreciation to Dr. Medgaus and His Staff

It’s now two years since Dr. Medgaus removed my failing implants and remaining teeth to provide me with a full upper and lower set of implants. The implants have changed my life! I cannot speak highly enough about my experience, or the respect I have for Dr. Medgaus and his staff.

I’m writing this recommendation for everyone who is like I used to be. I had a mouth full of problems that I’d been dealing with all my life; previous implants that failed; loss of faith that anything would work; and loss of faith in the field of dentistry in general. All of this changed thanks to Dr. Medgaus and his staff. Please know that your experience with Dr. Medgaus will be entirely different from anything you’ve ever experienced with another dentist.

You will not have to wait for your appointment, in the waiting room or sitting in the dental chair. Over a dozen appointments, I only had to wait ten minutes beyond my scheduled time, once. You won’t have to worry about remembering your appointment. The office contacts you through text message and/or email reminders. And, anytime, anytime at all, that you are worried about whether you’re healing right, or if something is wrong, call them and the office will schedule for you to seen ASAP. They actually make you feel responsible for checking out anything you think is wrong. I probably scheduled an additional 3 appointments because I got scared and just needed to know that everything was fine. Dr. Medgaus’s office offers Peace of Mind as you go through the entire process.

I moved from Monroeville to Cleveland, Ohio last year. But, I still make the 5 hour round trip drive to Dr. Medgaus for my implant cleaning and check up because I can’t imagine finding another dentist, or staff, as caring, conscientious and skilled as they are.

I started going March 8,2021 and it’s almost November 2022 and still don’t have new teeth. My tops not healing properly when I don’t have enough bone for the posts. Instead of saying I’m not a good candidate because of a lack of bone they took the money and keep blaming me for the posts not staying in. Dr Medgaus treats me terribly and Dr Nina treat me like I’m a kid. I’m 47 and because my parents paid for the procedure they treat me like I’m an infant. They make me feel so bad that I don’t want to go back to finish. They need to thoroughly check patients to make sure their bones are strong enough for their implants instead of blaming patients for the implants not healing properly. I have a huge lump on the side of my mouth that they ignore. They’ve done a bone graft and cracked my sinuses and they still won’t work. Obviously my bone density on the top of my mouth is not good enough for implant posts but it’s everything I do that makes them brake. Would not recommend using this type of implant. Will keep you updated on what happens next.

As someone who is terrified of the dentist and also suffers from anxiety as well as panic attacks, I went here because they offered sedation to help calm me. All the dentists there have been wonderful, aside from Dr. Zimmermann. While I was there for a filling, he supplied nitrous oxide which didn’t seem to be working as normal. When I told him this, he said “Oh you must not feel it because it’s not like the ones you use at home. ” I should have stopped it there, but with my anxiety I didn’t know what to do. He ended up giving me Novocain, which I felt fully, then drilled the tooth. It wasn’t until there were tears steaming down my face did he stop. Then when he went to fill the tooth, I couldn’t even open my mouth, Vaca use he hit a muscle or nerve that gave me lockjaw. The tooth obviously needed filled so to open my mouth they had to use a wedge. Three days later the lockjaw finally succeeded and I found out from the front desk the nitrous oxide was not working as it should have at the time, to a point a few of my scheduled visits needed to be rescheduled because of it. Needless to say, although they advertise they attend to the needs of people who have anxiety or fear of the dentist. Dr Zimmermann does not. I can’t believe he’s still allowed to practice.

Looking for dental implants? This is the place to go. The staff is highly skilled and passionate about the work they deliver. They all have wonderful personalities and make you feel at home. I wish I would’ve found them sooner but am grateful that I at least found them.

Fantastic! Very friendly staff and they explain everything in detail. I like a doctor with a good sense of humor as I am a nervous Nellie when it comes to a dental chair.

Yes you can get teeth in one day, however it is still a fairly lengthy process but they make it easy. A lot of dentist are doing mini implants these days but Medgaus dental is where you want to go. Everyone is professional and friendly and they do a great job. The price is pretty good compared to others also. Going here is one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I needed two crowns to close a gap that was causing distress to the gum when chewing there. While preparing the tooth, Gupta was drilling and injured the nerve. Now they want me to pay for a root canal on what was a perfectly healthy tooth. This picture is of the ulcer that the temporary crowns cause because they were too big!

After many years of unhealthy teeth, I decided to have implants. I couldn't be happy even though I'm still healing from surgery. I had a minor complications and Dr. Medgaus and the ENTIRE staff were so caring and helpful. The attention to detail in all aspects is top notch. Thank you to Dr

Dr. Rastegar was so patient and amazing! Getting that impacted wisdom tooth out was painless and I’m healing quite nicely! Their office is very neat and clean, and the staff is so friendly and awesome. They are out of network for me, but I still worked with them because they made me feel so welcomed. It was a pleasant experience, which is saying a lot considering it’s the dentist. But my overall experience was the best ever and I definitely trust their expertise! Will definitely go back for all procedures and recommend to others!

I had some additional implants placed today. Dr S. Gupta was extremely gentle and explained everything he was doing. No pain or discomfort at all! NICE! Mel was the assistant. She was very attentive and compassionate. Great experience! I recommend Medgaus Dental to anyone that needs specialized dental care. The entire office staff is always upbeat and nice, lots of smiles!

Dr Medgaus, Dr. Gupta, and Dr. Aguila and their staff are absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere of the office is so light and fun. The dental care is even better. I have and will continue to refer my friends and family to the group.

Simply the best- I had an extremely complicated case that involved implants- I had been to several oral surgeons that did not feel confident after years of bone loss that they could successfully get implants in my lower right area-

Dr. Medgaus achieved what seemed to be impossible and I could not be more pleased with the end results! I now have beautiful implants that look amazing!

Save yourself time and set up a consultation- he is wonderful and takes the time to understand and explain his approach each step of the way!

I will be a loyal patient for life and am pleased beyond words with Dr. Medgaus and also his phenomenal staff!

Going to the dentist is never fun and my dentist of 40 years retired recently which sent me on a hunt for a new one. I tried four or five different locations but just did not feel comfortable at any of them. Well, I found my home when I walked into the office of Dr. Medgaus and his fantastic group recently. Everyone is so pleasant from the front desk to the back exam rooms. His procedures are explained in detail and insurance is checked prior to the procedure, so there are no surprises which really helps with my anxiety. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who is seeking a new dentist. You will not be disappointed.:)

I can’t recommend Dr. Medgaus and his staff highly enough! I’ve had multiple visits over the past few months and they’ve always been extremely pleasurable, friendly and accommodating! From my initial consultation and on, I’ve always felt comfortable with how they’ve treated me and how they’ve explained any procedure they recommended. But more importantly, just today, I had a dental emergency. Called their office on a Saturday afternoon, after hours, and to my surprise Patty answered the phone and booked me an appointment within a couple hours. Both Patty and Dr. Medgaus interrupted their Saturday afternoon, met me at the office and took care of me! It that’s not an incredible gesture of how they care for their patients. I don’t know what is! Thank you both again along with your entire staff!

This was my consultation visit. Everyone on the staff was extremely courteous and professional. Dr. Medgaus explained everything to me in detail and really has a wonderful disposition with his patients. Normally I have been fearful of dental procedures, but the Medgaus Group has me excited to get started.
