My experience using the megabus actually was not bad. I wish that they did assigned seating to space people out further. People did not sit directly next to others but still. Also, the seats themselves could be a bit cleaner. They are made of cloth and have old stains in them. The bus claims to have an air filtration system and cycles in fresh air every few minutes. The ride was safe going and coming. I traveled to Philly from NY and back. I traveled on a Sunday and back on a Tuesday. Sunday to Philly surprisingly had a good amount of people on the bus. Tuesday returning to NY, ad expected was not crowded. I would continue to use megabus for short trips.

Boarding was mediocre because the driver was scared to read the phone of a passenger as if he would catch the Vid though he a mask on. But aside from this 1 fopaw it went smoothly. As usual.

This is the 30th Street Megabus stop. It's the first stop and the it's 6th street when a person is headed into NYC. The buses are wheelchair accessible via a portable ramp, but I have had multiple issues with many times the seats not being able to slide forward. I don't know how they say they have space for 2 wheelchairs when there is barely space for one. The Megabus has a bathroom for a very short person, barely any space to move at all. It is a double decker bus that's the good thing, it has outlets as well and 2 tables on the 1st level if anyone wants to bring a cup of coffee or tea or food. There is an Amtrak station for 30th Street station up the block that includes NJ Transit, plenty of buses, city trains and taxis. Also there are regional trains up the block as well. Wheelchair accessible area, and food courts in the Amtrak station.

I was so disappointed, I rushed to go to a funeral and they took cash to get to my destination with no problem. When trying to book ticket online to return home I had issues with my card so I figured just take the money out. I was denied service and told to call around to have someone book my ticket.
The customer service and empty shown was horrible. It was a very embarrassing situation the way I was being spoken to trying to explain my situation. I would not recommend anyone to use there service when in a tight situation.

The Bus from Philadelphia to NYC on Tueaday was 30mins late. I called customer service and they couldn't even locate the bus. Then we got stuck in the 5pm traffic that could have been avoided had the bus been on time. I rather spend $200 on Amtrak!

I wish I could give zero stars. ALWAYS USE GREYHOUND.megabus showed up over 30 minutes late, then informed us that they were not bringing us to the correct drop off location, they would instead arrive in NYC at the departure location, which was 20 min further from my destination. I only had an hour and a half in NYC for an important meeting. I had to miss the entire meeting, didn't take the bus, got photo evidence that I didn't take the bus, then Megabus refused to refund me after multiple emails and phone calls, all of which I was very polite during. During my last phone call with customer service supervisor Oliver at 2: 20pm on 08/03/2020, Oliver hung up on me after informing me that they have a strict no refund policy even though I didn't get to use my ticket! I didn't even request a refund, just a new ticket for the following Saturday. I'm infuriated.

If you’re there early (like 1+ hour) you can wait at the dining hall inside 30th street station or at some tables outside across from the megabus stop.

Good service. Timely. Bus stop is not over all clean. You can find garbage here and there.
No shelter to wait.

The worst bus stop ever. There is no shade, canopy or even seats. Either waiting under the sun, when it rains or even during snow, you're screwed if any of that happen!

Bus didn’t show up customer service unwilling to help or provide a refund when the bus didn’t show up! Unbelievable.

The bus left before the departure time. Bus was scheduled I leave at 10: 55pm, I got there by 10: 15pm and saw the bus just leaving right at the time I got off my lyft.

Little bit sketchy of an area and the stop clogs the traffic a bit, but its not the busiest road so its okay.

No shelter for rain or unbearable heat. Massive confusion as always, and you have to usually ask one or two people about getting in the correct line. The silver lining is that the 30th St train station is a block away, so you can always chill there until it gets closer to boarding time.

This megabus stop is more conveniently located than any other I've ever been to except perhaps D. C. Easy walk from much of the city, and right next door to a major transportation hub
