7I absolutely love this bank! I am not a fan of the lobby being closed though.but its to protect themselves and others so I understand! Stay safe and thanks for your help!
I deposited a check on their app from my business account as a payroll check and they are holding the funds for almost a week even though the check cleared the next day.
5 stars solely because of drive thru teller named Cody. Excellent customer service skills. Friendly and helpful every time.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a bank. Female teller behind counter was extremely rude. Loudly talked about my finances in front of other customers. They will take any chance they can to charge you a fee.
1) Terrible policy, terms and conditions, and follow through of written policies from upper management of the branch. (They had all rights to waive any and/or all fees).
2) My account was dinged 59 overdraft fees on 59 $10 transactions. $320 was actually deducted from my account and paid to the merchants on my behalf. So I became responsible for 32 overdraft fees. $1184 in overdraft fees over $320 charged to the members of the credit union. That is roughly a profit to Members 1st of $900.3) I had deposited funds to cover any and all transactions roughly 10 minutes after they processed through pending activity (I tried to beat the time frame I thought I had which was 11pm and they dinged at 5pm). I was literally 10 minutes too late (5: 10pm deposit). My $1200 deposit was basically taken away by fees. $16 of the deposit went towards any of the charges on my plate.
4) Upper management did not honor the mistake of timing. They accepted a $900 profit of my mistakes.
5) Credit Unions are ran and funded by members. Mostly on interest rates. They are tax exempt entities, unlike banks. They claim to be “Not-For-Profit”. They profited $900 on my behalf. I paid back everything to the members of the union 10 minutes after they were “affected”.
6) Almost all other banks and/or credit unions have maximum overdraft fees per business day. Most are 4-5 overdraft fees MAX on any given business day. This “bank”went 8x’s (literally was 14x's to begin with) that rate on me.
7) This whole issue is totally unjust and very inconsiderate on the upper management of the branch. The terms say they have the rights to waive any and/or all fees. They hardly helped me out at all.
8) The First thing they did to fix the issue, is all that they did for the matter! Even after 7 days of waiting for a return phone call.
In conclusion, stay far away from this “bank” their policies are unjust and upper management left me high and dry when I was 10 minutes late on my funds being deposited. Look elsewhere to local banks such as PNC bank, or M&T bank because they do have Maximum Overdraft Fees per Day!
Had trouble with a cash advance at the ATM. Went inside and was assisted by a friendly and helpful teller who made a call, and then completed the transaction for me inside.
