We had a nice two mile walk around the lake with our dogs. The fall foliage against the backdrop of the lake and the mountains was beautiful.

Nice park. It has less playarea for kids… a great spot for fishing and canoeing. They have rentals available

We love Memorial Lake. We took our dog today and enjoyed a beautiful walk. We saw many deer during our walk.

Had a lovely time on our first visit! Visited the three parking areas as well as the loop, where we saw lots of turtles and fish. We even walked the dam trail It was a very awesome day, and we look forward to visiting again to walk more trails!

Beautiful clean and well maintained large park. Great family environment. Picnic tables with Grills are scatter throughout the park. Designated fishing areas. Boat rental available, prices are honestly steep. Prepare to pay close to $100 for 3 hours depending what you chose to rent. There is NO swimming area. Paragliding is allowed with proper registration.

Dog friendly park. With trash receptacles and even doggy bag dispensers which I saw at the far end of the Dam

Dam is walkable and a nice place to cool off and feel the breeze coming over the lakes surface.

Hello!

I really liked this place. There is a lot to do and have fun. You definitely have to go and enjoy games, kayaking, lake, nature, taking photos, sharing with family, etc. Enjoy!

This place is magnificent! Several trails to walk and explore. The picnic areas are great some shaded, some not. The restrooms are very very clean and kept up.
Adequate parking. All in all just a very nice place to spend the day.

Very large lake. Lots of picnic tables and places to put your lawn chairs to sit by the lake.

What a wonderfully relaxing day we shared by the lake in view of kayaks, canoes, and fisherpeople. This park is truly a gem.

Beautiful area. Nice place to walk/run, bike, kayak, play sports or cook out. There are geocaches hidden here as well.

Great state Park, no swimming but you can fish and boat on the water. Lots of trails going around the lake and dog friendly. Went for a day trip so I'm unsure about other amenities

Crime filled area. Car was broken into.
Edit: to clarify.
There are absolutely no security measures. The park ranger was nowhere to be found until after the cops came, and both were of little to no help in the situation. The ranger said this has been happening for over a decade of peoples cars being broken into, or even stolen here.

I recently moved to from PA and as someone who's used to living in a desert (Phoenix), I was thrilled to discover that my new home is 8 minutes from this lake. I am loving it already, but I'm sure it will be even more of a treat in the spring and summer months. Oh, and if you are looking for a car charger, they have one.

Beautiful lake with plenty of trails to walk and benches to sit and relax while gazing at the lake. Paddle boats, canoes, kayaks. Bathrooms, playgrounds, pavilion, grills and plenty of picnic benches throughout the park. We are recently retired and this was a great day trip on a lovely Autumn day. Looking forward to returning to see more Fall foliage.

Memorial Lake State Park is formed by a dam that you can walk over the top. There are two boat ramps and a boat rental and a fishing pier. The water looks fresh and it's a shame there's no swimming here. There's no pool either. There are five very short trails and a large picnic grove with a play area. The ice is monitored for winter ice skating. The National Guard training center surrounds the park and there are several historic sites nearby.

This beautiful park is ideal for a walk, boat ride, picnic, or celebrating a birthday or wedding.
You can take some spectacular photos, it has clean bathrooms, parking, grills for random meat and plenty of shade. It also has two parking lots where you can load voting cars, swings and a sandbox for children.
The truth is that it is ideal to go with family and friends. My family and I loved it, we had a very pleasant time.
