Mennonite Home - Nursing & Personal Care, Lancaster PA

I have been moved by the dedication of employees of Mennonite Home, especially throughout this ongoing pandemic. Like in any business, there are grumblers, but many employees are showing up to take on extra shifts and stepping up to fill in where needed. The grounds are always beautifully cared for. The building is clean, safe and well appointed. Exceptional care and attention is given to the residents' physical and mental health. Mennonite Home consistently comes out on top in unscheduled DOH and CMS visits, because of these dedicated and caring nursing, facilities and administrative staff members. I'm proud to call MH my employer and relieved to know my mother, a Woodcrest Villa resident, will have a safe, clean and professional place to live if her health requires a move from independent living.

Worked there for 4 years. Chose to work there because I believed that their values and care for their residents would be fulfilling. In my time there I watched as it changed over to only focusing on money instead of their staff and the care and wellbeing of the residents under their care. I watched as the money in the budget whent to superficial things and not to the people that make the place what it is, the staff and residents. It's a shame that the values of the founders or faith and community have been replaced with superficial things and focus on money. I pray that leadership be humbled or replaced with God fearing individuals to bring back the great service and love for the communities elderly that it once revolved around.

I was not happy with this place. My mom was in the rehabilitation area. There was 2 aides who were very rude and rough with her. My mom complained about them and the one was removed but was back in the hall not soon after. Then they gave my mom too much medicine which resulted in her having to go to the hospital. It was awful. I thought she wasn’t going to make it. She pulled through and we placed her in another facility. I would not recommend this place.

Nurses and all staff are friendly; rooms and facility as a whole very clean. Good medical care. One of the best facilities
over all in the area.

Really nice place staff is so nice it's very clean and the residence are very well cared for everyone is so happy

Grandma seems happy. She was clean and her hair was done. The staff gave her attention and seemed kind. We had a room to meet in and visit.
