Mi Cumbia Organica, Philadelphia PA

Recently visited this salon, reviews were good and I’m new to the state so I figured why not. I came in a bit early and was greeted by a front desk girl (very friendly btw) so it made me feel at ease to wait for my tech (mindy I think her name was). I guess the appointment before me ran over time but it was okay luckily I didn’t have much to do that day, Once she was ready I was greeted and taking to the room to start my eyebrow wax/tint. Mindy was very friendly and attentive to me, but the reason I’m only giving 3 stars is because I do not believe she used an actual eyebrow tint on my eyebrows, she simply used a cheap eyebrow pencil to fill them in (I could of done that myself) in total I paid $36 for work that was mediocre at best. The only plus at this salon they are friendly but work isn’t the greatest.

Went in expecting a simple manicure, came out feeling relaxed and comforted. The staff and service far exceeded my expectations. I am grateful.

Just wow! Great atmosphere and great service. My wife and I went here on 9/9/20 for pedicures. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a woman in the front area. I didn't catch her name, but her personality was very kind and bubbly. Made us feel right at home right away. And the pedicures themselves were great. Highly recommend Mi Cumbia!

A friend and I stepped in for a foot massage and instantly felt transported to Columbia. Between the music, scents and aesthics, we felt like we left Philly the moment the door opened. The design is really memorable: skillful wood work, thoughtfully hung burlap and worn pages torn from a novel. The massages are worth every penny, as are the products used (and sold) in store. It wasn't until after I left that I realized how tight my feet were. Definitely part of my new foot care routine!

Every time I step into Mi Cumbia, I feel the stress slip away for a little while. I came in a few minutes late and feeling frazzled, and everyone was so welcoming and had me feeling relaxed right away. My manicure and pedicure were the perfect colors for the wedding I was in, and the delicious coffee is always a wonderful treat. Thank you everyone for making one thing on a long to do list feel like relaxation. I'll be back!

Great service and amazing warm staff! Total place of calm in the middle of an often chaotic city.

This is a hidden gem and the friendliest place you will find in Philadelphia! They offer the same services you'd find at most salons, they just do it better here. You'll be hard pressed to find better service, friendlier people and better coffee anywhere else in the city. Definitely make an appt.though, it's a small shop and they're always busy.

Sahar and her colleagues treated my mother with much care! My mother had a few special requests and Mi Cumbia honored them. Sahar called me after my mother's appointment to reassure me that she was well taken care of before I took my flight out of town. My mother and I will be a repeat customer!

This was a great experience. Traditional pedicures led to discoloration of my nails over time so I decided to go organic. Everyone was extremely nice - it was a spa experience. My nails look so healthy and natural now with clear (soy) polish.

Relaxing, fulfilling, radiating with love, warmth, and positivity. Only adjectives are necessary to describe how perfect this organic place is! I’m grateful for all the ladies (Kelly is perfect, and Gabriella gave me the best pedicure of my entire vida) at Mi Cumbia and for their dedication to precision, kindness, absolute luxurious comfort, and professionalism

This is honestly one of the best waxing places in Philadelphia. Karina and Vanessa are absolutely amazing, and I had a fairly pain-free waxing experience, since they use small strips for waxing. I have a sensitive skin, and I have tried hard wax. But, this is better. You will not regret going here. The ambiance is cheery and jovial, and they are very clean. I highly recommend this place!

I found my new pedi salon. A very very clean, non-toxic environment. They take their time with each customer. It is well worth the expense. Everyone who works here works with such joy, its infectious. Treat yourself to this, it's so worth it. The place is small but they make it work and have been doing so in the same spot for 10 years!

I went to Mi Cumbia for the first time on May 11th, 2018. I had a fantastic mani/pedi. They were very gracious to work me into their schedule because I waited until the last minute to make appointment. I really loved the natural treatments, the smell (non-toxic), and the ambiance of the salon.

Mi Cumbia is truly a good place. The pedicurists know what they are doing. I booked an appointment for a pedicure and a foot massage; full attention is given to you and they make sure you are comfortable. My nails look amazing and my feet feel great. I would highly recommend Mi Cumbia to any woman for a pedicure and foot massage.

Mi Cumbria is the prototype of what a nail salon should be. The service is attentive, comprehensive and quality. They treat every customer with love and respect, even high maintenance customers like my friends and I. They offer you neck warmers, open the libation of your choice (as long as it’s not red wine because of all the beautiful natural fibers) and their signature coffee.

When you come in you are greeted with warmth, it’s a small and intimate setting and the service style reflects that. The respect of the employees sets the tone for the respect they have for their customers. You can feel comfortable as a new customer in this space regardless of your background, ethnicity, or lifestyle. So if you are looking for a new venue to get a pedicure or manicure, try them.

They exercise impeccable hygiene and have sanitiary practices. The packages are worth the price to create a great shared experience for a loved one, a partner or a valued employee!

Mi Cumbia is amazing. They use top of the line products, do an unparalleled manicure (try the coconut) and make you feel like family while you’re there. My 2 month old was having a meltdown and instead of rescheduling my appointment, Sahar soothed him so I could have some much needed me time. I can’t say enough about Sahar, Kelly, Avi, Kendra, Mari, and the rest of the staff at this awesome salon. Truly a gem!

I have been coming to Mi Cumbia for about 4 years now and I'm never disappointed - I wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Karina is such a knowledgeable aesthetician and makes sure that her clients know what's going on each step of the way. Vanessa has done such a great job picking up Karina's clients while she is on maternity leave - and I always feel like I'm in good hands. Though I mainly go for waxing, all of the staff is always so welcoming and friendly - I have so much fun when I'm there! It's a beautiful, calming, and clean atmosphere as well. Thank you Mi Cumbia staff for creating such a vibrant community!

A lovely place and lovely people. Reserved a first manicure for my daughter along with my wife. The staff could not have been nicer. Very impressive how efficiently the place is run while at the same time making everyone feel welcomed.
