Craft Store Michaels reviews
25 There was a long line this evening that went back through the aisles. The cashier (I couldn't see her name tag & I can't find one on my receipt) was extremely patient and kind. I had my 3 children with me whom all had a seperate transaction (not including my own), one of which included a return. I appreciate the respect shown- not once did she hurry us or make any purchase (no matter how small) seem irrelevant.
This means a lot in a time when customer service is lacking and people are in a rush.
Michael's is a chain store that sells a wide variety of craft supplies. During my recent visit, I found products that met my needs. Prices were low to moderate. The cashier said hello and wished me a good day.
Favorite go to place for craft items. Has been a godsend in keeping my joy during this pandemic. I have even stepped put of my crafting comfort zone and tried new things
The lines were over halfway across the store. They need a system in place to expedite the lines. Having 2 people standing at each register isn't working. It took far too long to check out. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Terrible service! 8 employees seen doing misc tasks, only 2 registers open. Line to the back of the store.
I'm not sure if this is an East Coast thing, but this Michael's was the smallest one I've ever been to. It wasn't really all that well stocked either. Hopefully its just a pandemic thing but I'm not likely to return to a big name store if it doesn't have more in it. A solidly okay place if you need some odds and ends and don't want to pay small business money.
Way too expensive! Love crafting but these prices need to come down. Go to At Home. Nice variety prices much more reasonable!
Good variety and quality products. However, they advertise products online and the app that they don't have in store. Very disappointing.
This is one of my favorite stores! Making my daughter's Valentine's Day box was fun, we picked up this cute unicorn box kit to attach to it.
I found everything I needed! Originally I was very scared that the prices was going to be super high but they actually was reasonable. The staff was ok. I asked one where something was and she told me to read the signs.
They sell a little bit of everything here and I can often find something that's adequate for my needs. My only beef is the painting supplies are really only suitable for students and you won't find any higher grade paints or painting materials. You also won't find a lot of help from the staff. But prices are generally pretty good.
This Michael's is pretty subpar. Crowded, messy, and staff that doesn't seem as knowledgeable as other locations. But it is Michael's, so they do have craft stuff you need in a pinch.
I don't know how different one Michaels store is from another, but I will say that the staff here is great. They're knowledgeable and patient, and they'll help you problem-solve any craft or task you're trying to accomplish.
This is a great place to go if you like colors. All kinds of bold, vivid colors. And pine cones.
Had the best experience today! Kayleigh helped me pick out custom framing. I was a first timer and she was so helpful, patient and amazing! I can't wait to see my finished piece.
Can find what you need but every time I'm here there's only ever one cashier and the wait is long.
The store had a great sale going on and a good selection. The cashier when I checked out however was surly and clearly unhappy. I guess we all have those days.
I went here for my mother however all their veritie, books and craft items, it inspired me to want to start making things on my own. Easy to navigate through the store and the workers are very friendly.
Always can find something new or fun to spark your creativity. Can get some great deals just by belonging to there shopping club
