Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pittsburgh Airport

I canceled this reservation by both phone and with Priceline. Yet the hotel charged me anyway. I would not ever go to this hotel.

Terrible service. Left my ID at home was told by front desk clerk that was fine. Drove the 15+ minutes to be turned away because I didn't have ID. Thank God for Holiday Inn.

By far the nastiest, dirtiest, stinkiest hotel I’ve experienced in a decade or more. No more than 5 minutes in the room and we left. The guy at the front desk was cool and gave us a refund without a peep. He must deal with this daily. What a dump! If I could give zero stars, I would.

I was charged an extra $40 called the guy says no you weren't while I'm literally looking at the charge on my bank statement. He tells me he'll email me the receipt to show me never emailed me. And all this after my first night there the ac started blowing hot air at 3am and I asked to switch rooms and the front desk said it was too late to switch rooms that I would've had to ask earlier but I checked in at 11pm that night and the ac was ok until around 3am

When my Dad and I arrived there were police all in the building due to what we later found out was a guest issue on our floor. We never got greeted by Any of the desk attendees or floor staff. My Dad asked was it safe to stay here and the clerk ignored him he spoke to me in a whisper of a voice (you couldn't see his mouth move). You had to strain to see/hear if he was talking. We asked please don't tell us if you're putting us on the floor with the disturbance! Got ignored Oh soon as the elevator opened police and a guest right there cops looking like we shouldn't be on the floor. They got smart with us because We couldn't get pass to go to our room due to there being so many of them. They stayed there handling that for almost a hour so almost until midnight or a little after. Room had a smoke smell, chipped paint, heating light in the bathroom didn't heat nor light up, black mold in the shower and dirty vent. The elevator floor is all chipped. I tried to get my money back for the remainder of time we had left after the first night the hotel refused and never tried to accommodate us any other way. The floor every day and night we returned smelled like weed. The had coffee containers out in the lobby but never no coffee. Breakfast selecting very limited. The Worst place I have every stayed at in all my travel.

Average, affordable. Pittsburgh is an odd place to drive! If you need something to eat and cannot rely on delivery, have fun driving around mountainous Pittsburgh!

RUN FAR AWAY! THIS PLACE IS A MONEY TRAP! This place is so bad I literally had to write 2 reviews. Rooms are dirty, sheets are dirty, and the service is terrible. Booked 2 nights, Checked out after 2 hours and they still charged me for the night and would not refund! This place does not care about their guest, they will rob you!

Good location, but the building was the most rundown I've seen a Microtel.

Aside from the sorry state of the washroom, there may have been cum stains on the small sofa by the windows, which had no screens in place. I wasn't about to do further testing.

But I think the worst was the family down the hall who were using their in-room microwave to fry their chicken tenders. Sheesh.

The beds were clean and very comfortable and the hotel was quiet- exactly what we needed after a long day of flight delays. That being said, this is not a high budget hotel and expectations need to be on par with price tag. It's also at a great location, about 10 min from the airport and right near Robinson Town Center

I so like to give positive reviews! I really tried with this one!
On a positive note the room was comfortable and clean. AC worked great. Great location to stores and restaurant.

Outside of that, nothing much else positive to say! Customer service was terrible, a lot of it had to do with language barrier. Not one person we encountered had a good grasp or comprehension of English. Amenities were lacking. Breakfest was bread and coffee. Laundry had 1/1 washer dryer and it was fiflty! Business center was down.

I booked this hotel for free airport shuttle which took 1.15 hours upon arrival and only runs every hour to airport.

I would not recommend hotel unless you just need a convenient place to lay your head for a nigh

Make sure you check under your bed, found a used water bottle and a lot of crumbs under our bed. We didn’t stay because it wasn’t very clean.

The hotel's location was excellent. It was nearby a Walmart and a few other stores. The only hang-up for me was that they did not have an ice machine on the first floor. In my opinion, each floor should have one am I right?

This microtel in pittsburg is in a great location! Staff was friendly, my room was clean and the bed was very comfortable:) they also offer a continental breakfast which was super nice and convenient in the morning!

This place was not ideal. It smelled sooo bad in the hallways, and the doors to the stairwell get stuck, which is a fire hazard.

Very affordable. Great experience with the facilities and staff. Very clean and the complementary breakfast is worth your time.

I had a good experience here. It seemed clean and kept up and everything was in good condition. The young woman at the front desk was accommodating. There were a couple of small things but overall it was a good experience!

I'm very pleased with my room at this Microtel Inn and Suites Motel. It's for only one night. The room is very clean and comfortable. Nice big T V, very clean bathroom. I would recommend this place to anyone that likes a really good place to stay. It's only a 15 minute ride to the airport. Safe travels everyone.
