Midas, Philadelphia PA

I’m so tired of this Midas, I made an appointment at 3: 26pm for 5: 30pm. I pull up at 5: 22pm and they tell me they have no spots or appointments. Every time I come here it’s always an issue. They are not professional at all, and the manager at this location is horrible.

I took my charger here with so many problems. My old mechanic has been fixing my car for a year now and something different always go wrong right after. Midas was honest and advised to just get a new car. They helped me out a lot even though it’s seems like they were just doing their job but you never know what someone is going through.

First time here and had a good experience the staff explained everything to me and the work i was having done didn't take long

Worst service ever! My appointment for all change with 10: 00 a.m. In my cars being service at 12: 06 p.m. And a bunch of workers standing around. They have no care for there customers time. I would never recommend this location to anybody

The store manager Sean Holden is awesome. He always takes care of my truck and I’ve never had an issue with the service I’ve received here. He is the reason why I won’t take my truck anywhere else.

I had to REMIND the technician that I get a tire rotation with my Oil change. Even though, it was written on courtesy check list.
Technician never even did a visual break check. To rotate my tires he on'y lifted the car to his chest and he never bent down to go underneath my car to check the brakes the brakes should have been checked when he drain the oil because the car was lifted at its highest point then. I've had several issues at this Midas and the excuse that I get from management is O that person is no longer here.

Brian and his crew are incredibly helpful even if Andrew looks like Uncle Fester. Love you guys.

Such a rip off! I got an oil change done and kept the receipt in my glove compartment. 3 weeks later my car says I have 0% oil in my car. I call them and take my car and receipt to them. They said they know what happened. 30 mins later my car read that it had 100% oil in it. The guy that did the oil change said it was “fit to my car speedometer was in Kilometers instead of MPH”! I’ve been going to Pep Boys ever since. Other stuff too. STAY AWAY!

This place has very good customer service they are quick & effiecient.i will be going back for my car servicing needs.

I got up the other morning to find I had a flat in a brand new tire. I called around and these guys were having a free tire repair day. So I took it in. No hassles, quick turn around and a good job. Friendly helpful young man on the desk. I've had other work done here, exhaust. No complaints. I have a prius so I let the dealers do most of my work. Still, super quick and easy repair at no charge is just awesome service.

Just got the quickest most through oil and fluids check ever at Midas Cheltenham. Kyle (my service man) and Mike the manager are two awesome guys. Their service is impeccable. Going back in a week for tires. Thanks again guys!

Somewhat dishonest and over priced. They tried to charge us for almost $200 for taillight circuit boards when in fact they were fine. I just replace the break light bulbs myself at home. Overpriced us for engine repairs; got a quote from another mechanic shop that was way less then what Midas quoted us ($350 +in savings). Overall, unless you got deep pockets, find another mechanic shop. One star for good work.

They are very awesome to me. I don’t go anywhere else but to Midas to get my car fixed. Mike, Sean, Shardae, Frank just to name a few are very professional. Sean and Mike explains everything I need for my car and why it’s significant for me to have it.

If I have to give them a negative stars, I would. In December 2017 first week, I dropped in my car at Midas - Ogontz Avenue, for a routine oil change. They messed up my oil change, did not replace the filter properly, my car engine broke on the middle of highway and my family of four almost died. From there my 4 months of hell started. It took them almost three weeks to get approved through the insurance and get my car sent to Honda to replace the entire engine. Honda promptly replaced the engine. Midas wasted my time on multiple instances; they would ask you to come to their office to pick up a rental car and you go there, they don’t have a car. I had spent close to 1500$ on towing and rental cars. Then it took another 2 months and multiple phone calls to get them submit my receipts to the insurance company to get my refund. They made me beg them for it. You are at their mercy. They say they will return your calls and will never call you back. If they say they willl call you back tomorrow, that means they will not be coming into work. You have to call them multiple times in a day. They will never give an update. I worked with Anthony and Shawn. They will say all the pleasing words but nothing will get done. No follow ups, no sympathy to someone suffering. I ended up accumulating a debt on my credit cards on interests because of these people. Would never visit another Midas again in my life.

I wish there was a -0 star I don't even want to give them one star. No idea how they do their businesses. Ordered tire never called or communicated with the costumer. When you call them they are rude. Worst place ever. Never bring your car or don't business with them. They don't know obviously how to treat costumers.

Staff are professional and very friendly. They inspect the car and present you with all 'needs fixing' areas after which you decide if you want them fixed or wait for another day. Mike and shawn/sean are great people in this shop. They know the customers and always ready to help whenever they can. Great people, great hospital for your little sick vehicle. Come with it and you will go back home happy and your wife will be happy for you that you visit midas at Orgontz Philadelphia.

I give this place 5 star just to stand out of the majority of negative reviews. I think employees are killing this place. Some dude in the store wanted me to approve aligning rear axle on a 2001 old sentra. Really? My best advice to the owner: fire them all maybe except the polish guy because they are killing this business and soon you'll end up with all the negative scores and no income to support the business. Focus on turnaround time and request customer survey each time a service is done.

They are willing to work with you with their program if you qualify. Customer service is nice from what I experienced.

They are extremely rude! Because I decided not to pay $50 with them to get my headlight changed the guy tried to make it seem as though I'd be going to jail and he was obligated to report me to whatever entities he thought would scare me into saying yes to him. On top of his threats he was on a personal call on speaker phone and "shooed" me away when he realized I wasn't spending extra unnecessary money there. NEVER AGAIN!

Went to this location on 10/7/16 for a oil change, and the sticker that they placed in my window shield after the supposed oil change said I got the oil changed on 10/6/15. The worker also sarcastically states " I tried everything I could to find something wrong with your car but I didn't". I was ONLY there for a oil change anyway not an inspection what were they supposed to find? Definitely won't be back!
