Very friendly golf club. Greens are in the best shape they have ever been in. Lots of respect to the green's keeper! Not easy in these weather conditions, it has been so hot and so rainy. Usually busy but pace of play is good.

70$ for one of the worst public courses in the area. Don’t waste your time or money on this course. Tee boxes gave no grass. Bunkers have no sand. All the money for the greens fee and nothing goes back into the course. Was also a 6 hour round so if your interested in wasting a day this is the place to do it.

Overall, I found a lot of positives about this place. Price was a little steep but paying $55 for a nice and quick Friday Morning round with only 4-5 other groups on the course is a lot better than paying $90 and end up waiting on every hole. Greens + fairways were fairly well maintained and the bunkers were just a bit bare (don’t end up in them and you won’t have to worry) while the blue tee boxes were serviceable. If you’re just a golfer who wants to get out and play a relaxed round and aren’t a stickler for perfect conditions, I think you should give this place a shot!

August 2023: I went to Neshaminy HS 20 years ago and this was our home course. Played it all the time and it was never great, but it’s straight up sad to see it now. Greens are in decent shape, but the rest is a dog track. Teeboxes look like someone was out there excavating with a shovel; not even close to flat either. Pace of play was abysmal; no ranger moving people along (because they do a terrible job staggering tee times). No beverage cart. Rough is blotchy patches of grass but about half dirt. It’s just embarrassingly overpriced for what it is. This is a $30 course charging $66. You’d never know it from what you can see from the clubhouse. They very obviously take good care of #1,17, and 18 since that’s all you can see from the clubhouse. Once you get out there though… yikes.

Hope it improves, but I think this was my last round at Middletown. Soooooo many better courses nearby at this price point or lower, there’s honestly just no actual reason to spend your money at this one.

This is where I really learned to play golf. So many great memories, but it’s just sad to see how neglected this course has become. Again, it was never great, but it’s an absolute dirt track now. Hopefully someone who cares buys it out and does a complete overhaul.

Greens were in good shape. 10 am tee time on a Saturday. Didn't get off the course until 3: 30. Not my first 5+ hour round here. Tee boxes were in horrible shape. Most were either crabgrass only or dirt/sand. Fairways were in okay shape. The layout isn't bad and being forced to hit irons off several par 4s keeps it interesting.

They paid people for good reviews because this place is absolutely terrible. The t boxes were dirt and weeds. The fairways were full of dead grass and weeds. The bunkers were dirt with rocks in them. The greens were all chewed up with crab grass in the collar. God awful course complete rip off for 70 dollars a round. Played of a Saturday and there was no cart girl. The only nice thing I can say is the ranger was a nice guy. Dint waste your money

Greens were great, fairways nice for the most part. Staff couldn't have been nicer, pace of play was 4 hrs exactly. All that being said, the tee boxes were pretty chewed up and on a number of holes the rough was all weeds. All in all it was an enjoyable round. I hadn't played here since 1998 and today round reminded me that I really like this layout at Middletown.
