Midlantic has a monopoly when it comes to urology in the area other wise I wouldn't go back! I was seen by one of their urologists after an emergency room admittance at Chester County Hospital and Dr. Hersh was very good. & I liked him. Since I had to go to HIS practice for follow-up after discharge, that's when the problems started - you can't get through on the phones and when you do, you're not treated like a valued patient or even with common courtesy. I found myself engaged in a war of words at one point with one of the receptionists - AND THIS WAS AFTER I TOLD HER I WAS IN PAIN! OMG I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism and rudeness. It's hard to be appreciative of your Doctor when his staff is unhelpful and uncaring. Wish I did not have to go back again and after my last litho treatment I will be seeking another urology practice.

BILLING is totally useless. I am being billed for treatment from one year ago. The BILL is supposed to be for $762 but it says "Already Paid" and the balance is for.you guessed it. $762. Many phone calls and still no resolution. Can not recommend.

The billing for this place is a joke can’t get a hold of anyone and they don’t even know what you’re billed for when you call and ask for information regarding your bill

This practice is in shams. I have ask 3 times for a refill. Still no refill or even a call. When you call them to get a refill the message tells you to go to the pharmacist. I did that 2 times with no refill. I then called them and the only way to talk to anyone is to pretend you are a doc or another practice. I talked to someone about the refill. They said it would be taken of. Nope. If you go the talk to a nurse route you get some call center person. I will be changing to another practice. Run away from this one.

Dr. Collins is the best. First time I had a kidney stone, I was 20 or 21. Dr. Collins was so kind and passionate. I doubled over in pain so I went to the hospital where you should go if you are in that kind of pain. I started to vomit which means it is serious and possibly blocking something. I met Dr. Collins in the hospital. I have had him for almost 26 years. I recommend this practice to everyone.

After being treated/interacted with several Drs. In this practice, my experience has been that you should look elsewhere if you want any level of understanding or compassion. I have seen them to be treated for Kidney stones, which can make for a great deal of discomfort, nausea and double you over type cramps. When going through a health issue such as this you are most liklely not looking for a doctor who mocks your pain threshold (very easy to say if you have never had one, and since my own is pretty high it was particularly troubling)
Or another Dr. Who hangs up on you when calling for pain management solutions for a holiday kidney stone. There are other very good Drs in the area, you deserve better than this group practice.
