Mike Kelly Kia reviews
19 They have to start allowing negative stars for this dealership and Kia in general. Have a recalled out of service car sitting there 2 1/2 months.now they say another 4-6 weeks because of back order. Their recall. Been told we are next on the list for a loaner for last 2 months.
Call, leave message, no call back. Just called and asked for General Mgr. Not at that location today. Asked for Service manager, not answering her phone right now.
Want to buy a car go ahead. Need it serviced? Good luck.
Worthless. Mist frustrating service ever.
Please take the recording about your 5 star service off when we are on hold. Sickening.
Excellent service with very fair and reasonable pricing—and best of all they're upfront and HONEST. Shocking! No hassle, no fuss, no stress. The atmosphere was great and friendly instead of being dark or heavy like at other places I've been to. The vibe was good from start to finish.
The saleswoman I dealt with, Kelly Crawford, was by far the nicest and most professional person I've done a deal with. The final person I dealt with was a finance manager named Jason who was professional and a straight shooter—he did not press at all for extra warranty or added services, and simply informed us of our options.
This was a very professional and polite team and it stands as the best experience I've had with a dealership. And I've dealt with many different dealerships in my lifetime. I will definitely be doing business again in the future.
Highly recommended! !
I had to have my 2015 Kia Optima towed to Mike Kelly in early December 2023 when the engine locked up. I was unable to actually follow the tow truck there as it was during working hours. I called the dealership to confirm the vehicle had arrived to which I was told “that’s not on my tow list it’s on the other service guy’s list. ” I was told he would walk the lot to see if it was personally there. No call back from Matt or Jared. I had to drive to the dealership myself to see if the car was there. To which I discovered they left the drivers side window completely open while it was snowing. Additionally, I asked that my ex husband’s information be removed from the account and my information listed moving forward. Fast forward to today when I called to check the status of the warranty work to be told that the car was done. I picked up the vehicle and my ex husband’s information is listed all over the paperwork. Needless to say that he was contacted instead of me. In fact I was never contacted about any of the process unless I took the initiative to contact the dealership. After a call back to the dealership, I was again told the information would be updated and separated. There is NO reason that a business cannot update contact information when providing service. I recently purchased a Kia Telluride from another dealership and will think twice before taking it to Mike Kelly for any warranty or service recalls.
I just had some work done on a Kia that I own. Matt Puchnick was great to deal with. He has great communication skills and knowledge and was very polite. He told the customers ahead of me about the complimentary beverages and showed them the waiting room. Great experience
I recently had my car taken to Mike Kelly for a service issue. Lisa, the service manager, was very helpful and communicative about giving me updates about my car. They helped to get me a loaner car while mine was being evaluated. Matthew called and gave me clear updates about what preventative services were recommended. Overall, a very positive experience. I bought my car here as well and was very happy with the purchasing process.
I was recently at Mike Kelly Kia to have my 23 Forte looked at for a check engine light. Mind you, I bought the car new from them in February. So after waiting almost 3 weeks for my appointment, I have my wife drop the car off with specific written instructions for them to mount my snow tires and fill with nitro, of course troubleshoot the engine light and also top off the coolant. 3 hours later I get a call from them stating the engine light cause was from a dirty air filter. Mind you, it is the second time coming on in 2 months and I personally checked the filter when the light came on. So I went to pick it up and the half wit service manager tried telling me the engine light wasn’t on when the car came in, which was a lie. He said the air filter was missing pieces, also, another lie. So I walk to my car only to notice the wheels were covered with a white chalky substance. When my car went in it was spotless. That’s poor service in my opinion. After my experience with the engine light “mystery”, I wasn’t surprised and had low expectations from these clowns anyway. So I get home, pop the hood and, you guessed it, more disappointment. The morons left the battery terminal cover off and laying in the engine bay. When they were removing the air boot, they left a mess of lube overspray all over. A simple wipe with a rag would have done wonders. More signs of their utter incompetence. I also found the coolant to be still low. Fast forward to today, one month later. I’m changing my oil and look at the washer fluid reservoir to find it full of GREEN ANTIFREEZE! Those derelicts put the coolant in the WRONG RESERVOIR! I mean, the blue lid wasn’t enough to prevent this? From a “certified” technician!? !? Come on. They will be getting a call from me. Complete morons. I wouldn’t let them wash my windows. Let alone touch my car ever again. My apologies for the long review, I just hope to save everyone the trouble they can certainly EXPECT from these totally incompetent idiots. And trust me, I know this won’t get me anywhere with Mike Kelly, as my expectations based on experience are nonexistent. Take your vehicle ANYWHERE but here! Monkeys could fix your car better than these people.
Great positive experience. Tawny was great! Dealership worked with us. I never felt pressured. Mike kelly was great! Drove off the lot In a cute kia. Will return for future car shopping.
Service department does not return calls. Its a constant headache for the simplest things on a brand new car
I called for a safety recall.was told that if I didn't buy the car there or in the past that they couldn't perform the work. This place is garbage. Only after an email to KIA, and speaking with someone on the chat on their website was it explained that they are weeks out and that they made a special exception and got approval from the service manager to schedule my appointment. I bet KIA would love to hear about an authorized dealer telling SAFETY recalls that they won't perform the work.
My purchase experience was great but was promised some extras for referrals and haven't received them after almost six months, not happy
Hands down the best Kia dealership! Lisa the service manager is absolutely amazing. Always takes care of my sportage! Would recommend them to anyone!
Worst dealer experience I've ever had. Waited 3 months to have engine replaced. Had to rent a car on my own most of that time. The service manager was rude and ignored of my calls. The general manager just didn't care. I was told by KIA corporate that they were supposed to process a claim to get some of my rental costs reimbursed but she felt it wasn't her job or wasn't justified. I finally got someone at KIA corporate to help me with that. The dealership also replaced my front brakes which squeeked right from the get go. I wasn't sure what the cause of the squeaking was at first but when I took my car in for a recall issue to a real KIA dealership they discovered that it was a cracked brake pad. These were supposed to be brand new and presumably warrantied. Called Mike Kelly KIA a couple of times to have them address it but as usual messages were ignored.
Thank you to Lisa for taking care of my Kia Sorento when my engine had died on 4th of July weekend. She promptly submitted a claim with my extended warranty to ensure I was back in my vehicle as quickly as the backorder parts would allow! I would highly recommend Kelly's!
I would like to give a huge shout out to Steve, Jason and Chaz! I was looking for a Soul GT and they had what I wanted! Steve and jason treated me extremely well! Steve gave me top dollar for My trade and got me the payment I wanted! Not only did they treat me extremely well on my trade, they delivered my new Soul GT to me 2 plus hours away! I can’t say enough how happy I am! These guys went above and beyond my expectations! I wasn’t treated like a number, I was treated like I was part of the family! Thanks again for treating me exceptionally well! Wish I could give more than a 5 start rating! I will be doing business in the future for sure!
A few months back I bought a car at this dealership. After I started signing papers for purchasing the vehicle a $1000 paint and fabric plan was thrown in without asking me and I was told it was too late to remove it because the spray was already being applied to the vehicle. I still do not know what that spray was or what the plan covers. I feel like I was forced to get it as their “mark up”.
The sales representatives are the best. My family has purchased several vehicles here and will continue to
This dealership is horrible with time management and communication between employees. We have been here on 3 separate occasions and every single time our appointments have been several hours OVER their estimated time frame. We came here for one appointment that was estimated to be one hour. The repair was a recall and we were told it was an easy fix. I waited over 2.5 hours and only after I started to ask questions did they even bother to get out of their chair to go check on my van. Second time I was here for a repair that was to take 4 hours. At the 5 hour mark I asked for an update and then they told me another hour! How does a job that should take 4 hours go 2 hours over! When I made the appointment I was very clear of time restraints and they assured me I would be out in time. Well now I'm sitting here with no vehicle and hoping I get to my daughter's school in time. I will never return to this location and will take my business to another Kia of need be.
Had a state inspection recently. After it started, they called me and told me rear brakes needed replaced and a rotar needed replaced. They quoted me $356 to do this. I agreed to this. Afterward, I was charged another $226 for “labor”.
Tawny Butler was amazing to work with! Her and her team worked hard to find me my dream car and was very willing to answer any question in a knowledgeable and friendly manner. Highly recommend their business, and specially Tawny Butler!
