Milford Animal Hospital

This practice was sold about 2 years ago and it hasn’t been the same since in all the wrong way. There is ab no care, the vet just does sales pitch and barely look at the pup. Unable to answer any questions cause he’s rushing to leave. The nurse take out not once but twice the wrong shot to administer to my pup. After 4 years I walked out and know it will be my last time. They should only be a retail place NOT veterinary care. It doesn’t even deserve a star.

Dr. Grasso and the staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. I have been taking my dog to them since she was a puppy and I will continue to bring my dog to MAH.

First visit today with my German Shepherd Ryker. The doctor and his assistants were fabulous. Took care of us right away. I recommend them.

Not at all a good experience.hard to find. Then the wait was stressful as it was an emergency visit w a pup that i was told tested for parvo. The vet was odd.he would look at floor or wall than make eye contact. He had no mercy when i told him i had just moved to area.wS out of work 3 months due to cancer surgery.and my hubby passed for why i had to relocate.i asked him PLEASE CAN YOU DROP EMERGENCY FEE FROM 125 TO THE REGULAR 55 FORXAN OFFICE VISIT. OR HAVE THE HEART TO WAVE EVEN THE 55. HE WOULD NOT BUDGE. The bill was tough. 464.but they did give a senior discount after much upset for 421.so many staff there it seemed.i was shocked that though pup had parvo after being tested.they never cared to isolate him from others ther w pets.when parvo very contagious.
To get out of the handicapped space you had to back up.and turns out next day pup was full of pep.n back to normal.so the parvo would not have allowed recovery so soon. I phoned to tell them pup was having fun.eating.though no meds were given.they said parvo test could not have been wrong.i told them i NEVER WANT GO BACK THERE. A LOT OF FOLKS I TD MY STORY TO SAID YES HE IS A COLD AND ODD VET. BUT VET PRIOR WAS WONDERFUL. IT WAS A BAD ALL AROUND EXPERIENCE

We had an exceptional first experience at Milford Animal Hospital. The staff is phenomenal. Our dog was happy and relaxed the entire appointment, and I trust her judgement! We have a new vet!

Got an emergency appointment with them immediately. Staff very kind very professional. Vet diagnosed my senior cat with a cardiac condition and very informative in terms of explaining condition, treatment plan, and medications. Most importantly I felt I was listened to and not rushed at all. Medications are very reasonable. My other cat is a little on the feisty side and has been handled professionally and humanely.

The staff here is amazing. They love animals and our animals were treated with great care.

Great vet hospital. Was bringing my pets here for years now. Always on time with appointments and very professional.

Experience was pleasant, from scheduling to appointment was 2 days. We were brought right in and met most of the team quickly. The vet was informative as he could be for a Fancy Rat. Prices were fair, and medication was not marked up for profit.

5 stars would have been an easier to read sign or some better lighting on the way in. A single lane road can cause issues for those unfamiliar

For 30 years we went to Milford Animal Hospital. I tried for a litttle over a year taking all 8 of my animals to Dr. Grasso. After several issues, misdiagnosis, and unnecessary treatments with 2 of my animals I have moved on to a new vet. I have had many animals and know it is not inexpensive. I do not appreciate being taken advantage of though. I would not recommend MAH. It is sad and breaks my heart to see what has happened to what Dr. D put so much time, care, love and hard work into.

I been going here about 8 years spent a lot of money heretook my dog in the last week they gave me 4 different medications for her one of the Meds was no good something was wrong with it called them they said bring it in so they can see it after they seen it wasn't good they gave me another bottle but they still charged me for another one very disappointing after I just spent 12 hundred on my dog and another 13 hundred on my cat in the last 3 weeks and a few other things I don't agree with how they do business I will start looking for another VET VERY SAD I'm responding to your comments first of all we have a cabinet for our animals for their MEDS and food so the medication you claim that was in the sun didn't happen the medication went from liquid to a gel my wife is a nurse for 20 yrs I believe she knows how to handle medication the 31 dollars that you charged me Xtra was the last money your ever going to get from me definitely not customer service or helpful patient care

Very grateful for this vet. There aren't many vets in the area that take exotic pets. I was able to take my Bearded Dragon here to checked out. Staff and doctor were very friendly and was able to answer all questions.

We attended Milford Veterinary Hospital for a few years. It was a great practice when Dr. Dubensky was in charge. He was such a caring, knowledgeable professional. After this establishment was sold, we continued to support it.
During our first visit myself and my husband Yakov Shtromandel were waiting almost two hours for hour turn, despite of scheduled appointment. The doctor explained that waiting time due to emergency.
Few month later our dog experienced bad seizures, and we had a real emergency. We called the office on Friday at 1pm. Receptionist went to ask the doctor and an answer was he does not have a time to see our dog Katya.
We went to Newton Veterinary Hospital. We had to drive 45 minutes with the dog which could not stand on herfeet after seizures.
Katya was on a special urinary care diet. We accidentally forgot
the food in our other house. My husband called Milford Animal Hospital and asked for a small bag of food. Receptionist confirmed that food is in stock and went to the doctor to get a permission to sell it. Veterinarian refused. The reason was we have to come every 6 month in order to get the food. But we were denied an emergency visit few weeks prior. The Doctor said he needs recent blood test in order to provide with the food. I offered to receptionist to e-mail recent blood test from Newton veterinary hospital, but it also was not good enough for doctor.
Our dog was 15 years old and could not eat anything but special urinary care food.
At the end of conversation receptionist told us to go to different vet if we don't like their service.
We believe whole ordeal was unacceptable.
If you love your pet, go to different practice. Anything is better than this one. We had dogs for 28 years.

Went here with an emergency our dog Remington couldn't walk and was treated immediately and diagnosed with lymes along with constant ear infections. Dr suggested trying the cheapest route first with allergy chews and they have worked amazingly so far 5 months ear infection free

Good. Dr.was congenial, and listened to my suggestion. Affordable. They helped my Lucky Lou tremendously.

Originally, I gave this place 4 stars, but the practice was purchased and 1 star is the best I can give now. The inconsistencies and lack of accountability by the new staff have caused me to go elsewhere.
