16Great place to play 18. Reasonable rates with good hot food options. Newer carts with knowledgeable staff.
We did not go there for the golf course nor the camping we went there for the trout hatchery my kids love feeding the fish
The course is tough. Lots of water. Long par 3s. Unfortunately everyone was held up by a 6 some (first time I've ever seen that). Was a par 5 open in front of them and they were arguing about putting order on the green? No starter. No ranger. Guess it's the new norm after covid.
Unfortunately it has been a very dry summer and it shows on the fairways where there is no irrigation. The greens were in decent conditions.
Tees and fairways were terrible, no grass at all. Greens had a few bad spots, otherwise good condition. Stopped in the 19th hole and got a beverage. Wanted to have another and the bar person totally ignored our empty glasses (only one other person at bar). Will not be returning here and do not recommend anyone going here.
Played recently, mid-July. Some sections of the course are bone dry and either bare or only dying grass. On the plus side there was more roll than I’ve seen in a while. Had trouble getting a tee into the ground on a few holes The greens however are mostly in good shape, except a low spot or two. The greens seemed slow, but seemed to run true.
If you want to play it, do so after a good soaking rain.
We love the fish and duck pond. 25 cent fish food, my kids love stopping by when traveling thru.
Golfed here today for the first time ever, all fairways are dry like they are at ever course in the area but their greens are in EXCELLENT shape! This is a very enjoyable course. After the round we had lunch and the food and service was very good. Highly recommend.
I came here after a birthday party I had in Tunkhannock. I had two kids with me so I stopped here so they could feed the fish. They both enjoyed it very much and I loved seeing their smiles. This is a great and inexpensive place to have fun with kids.
It's just gotten better since the new owners took over. Only issues are still it drains terrible. Pricing is fair. Nice course overall
Course was extremely wet, but was still enjoyable. Liked the new proshop/Clubhouses area, but it was closed up when finished round around 1pm which was disappointing
Very nice, well maintained course. Challenging for the first time playing there. Looking forward to getting there again.
Didn't play golf. Visited the fish and duck feeding area. Lots of trout from the hatchery located there. No fishing allowed. Just observe and feed only.
Ehh.decent appetizer in the fried calamari and shrimp, servers overwhelmed, portion sizes were a bit too large, weird need to go pay for drinks at the bar separately.
Played it for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The greens and fairways were in really good shape. Course is flat and can be walked. It has a small pro shop with a decent size restaurant. The greens/cart fees were reasonable
Was a really nice course. The day of our tournament it was wet, I mean water laying everywhere from all the rain we got earlier in the week. All of the participants were really understanding and I didn't hear one complaint.
