Miller's Crossing Fleatique reviews
15So there I was… I walk in just as the joint opens; a grinch haired flava flav inspired gilf hawks me down and makes it very clear they will be closing in 7 hours and 30 minutes. She says to me time is wayyy fast here they will be closing in 7 minutes now! She says I will be punished. Yea right. She closed the store.she followed me around with her clock saying times a tickin! I am so rushed! I’m surprised she didn’t pay (with a $15.00 minimum credit card charge) to have BIG BEN dismantled and shipped to this very store so you know exactly when it’s time to gtfo! There are only two times on her clock… Open, and get the frick out o clock! And spoiler alert it’s never open o clock…
It’s made up of different vendors so it’s packed with a ton of stuff. Unfortunately most of the stuff is not my style ~ country - but not like the cool western type, country as in the SW PA type. But If that’s what you’re in to, you’ll think it’s a gold mine! I still found a few cool things though. It’s clean and well organized.
Can spend hours just looking and if your old enough to remember most of the items or even to have owned some at some point in your life, it's great to reminisce. Love it
Great place to wet the appetites Kickstarter for day excuse to get off sofa and explore then go from there and just maybe find a hidden gem to purchase to grace your house or mantle
Fun place to visit. You never know what you may find. Most items are priced reasonably. Very friendly staff!
Based on what we saw in the photos that people had posted, we weren't sure that this was going to be a good antique shop / flea market. But we found very little junque. They had a nice variety of quality offerings available throughout the booths. We found reasonable prices throughout. And came away with a couple bags of finds. If you're like us, with a short list of things that we're looking for, and always open to things that we didn't expect to find, you can easily spend a few hours here. Furniture for sale was all in good condition. There were some beautiful Tiffany lamps, serving bowls, and artwork throughout. And a lot of the usual Longaberger, Corelle, and Pyrex type pieces that you might see in a nice shop. This was a fun stop on our trip!
I've lived in the area for a while but this was my first time there. They have such a variety of items for almost anyone.
Okay, so I am not one to publicly blast people on the internet but I will not be returning here. Last 2 times, bad experience.
First, back in January the two ladies behind the counter start loudly talking poorly about how I was dressed (I was wearing a jacket and distressed jeans? Lol) were VERY vocal about how they “didn’t understand how someone could leave the house looking like that” and when I acknowledged they were being loud they were rude and unforgiving.
Now I return again yesterday, I buy a piece of glassware, (they do not take the tags of items at this place) but when I get home and unpack my item the vendor had strategically placed and scotch taped the tag over the large crack! When I called there was “nothing they could do” and seemed to brush me off.
I am a full time reseller and go to hundreds of antique malls all over the states and have not had this. If you’re going to talk poorly about a way a customer looks, at least wait til they leave, and why should your vendors be paid for being blatantly deceitful, when someone uses their hard earned money to purchase something?
All around disgusted.
This place is a LOT bigger than it looks from the outside! There were so many cool things to look at, there really is something for everyone. Definitely worth the drive to check it out.
I really did love this place. Seems there are regulars that come often. I didnt find any hidden treasures but it's a great place for collections you may have. Definitely visit this place.
Gave the place 5 stars a year ago.
However, took a road trip there today after not being there in a few months the lady that was ringing people out double rang an item and when pointed it out acted like I was the problem. Spent over $100. Won't be back.
The fleatique has a little bit of everything. You never know what you will find. It can be an adventure.
Giving a 1 star review because I don't want anyone else to go. I think it's the best kept secret around.seriously it's wonderful go if you haven't!
We unknowingly chose to go the day that Irwin had Antiques on Main, but it was still a great store. It goes on forever!
This is my absolute favorite fleatique. The staff are super friendly and every time I go in there I spend.
