The Millworks artful experience was delightful. The industrial chic environs was a great backdrop for the artsy trinkets for sale coupled with scrumptious vittles- elevated pub fare with locally sourced ingredients - was purely delish. So good. So worth driving off 81 for a few miles for a tasty nosh and a sip. Totally worth the trip.

Lunch at Millworks…. If you’re from the local area you need to say no more, the food, service and atmosphere are always welcoming.
Today we chose the Corn Chowder and as with all their soups, it didn’t fail to please.
To add to our enjoyment we were served by Daphne, someone who knows what customer service is, she was very professional and attentive.
We will continue to stop at Millworks for lunch and dinner.

I have had only a smoothie all day in a super busy day! I came in hungry and yearning to sit, relax and be taken care of. My amazing work is all about taking great care of my Abdominal Therapy & shamanic clients, and mystery school as well as kundalini yoga students. Because I am a great care taker, I SO appreciate been taken care of. Thank you Ashley!

I’ve been here many times now and I just had to write a review for my recent visit because our experience was very disappointing and nothing was done about it by any of the staff members. My husband and I came for brunch and since there was a 25 minute wait, we asked to sit at the bar but I still put my name down for the waitlist. Upon sitting at the bar, it took about 5-10 for the bartender to acknowledge us and give us menus, then another 5-10 minutes for him to bring us water. We quickly decided on what we were ordering since we were pretty hungry, however it seemed they were understaffed and the bartender took a while before he took our order. Once the food came out, I was very excited about my pancakes since I had been craving good pancakes. Upon taking my first slice of the pancake, it just fell apart. I was surprised and a little confused as I kept picking it up and it kept falling apart. The composition of the pancake was faulty and missing something. It should not be this crumbly. Also, my pancake was over cooked and brown on one of them. My bacon was also over cooked and was charred and hard. My husband got the sausage gravy and chicken with biscuits and he said his food was very dry. Needless to say, we were both underwhelmed with the quality of our food. I did ask the bartender about who the manager was and if there’s a manager for the kitchen. I then asked if I had feedback about the food, who could I talk to. He said he could pass on the message to the chefs. So, I told him about the pancakes and he said that another customer said the same thing. I kept looking around for the manager and made eye contact but he did not pick up on my signal and I wasn’t going to bother him since he seemed to have his mind on something else. It would’ve been nice if he did come by to check in with the customers to ask how things were. I don’t know if the bartender ever gave my feedback to the kitchen staff but I hope they become aware of it.

One of my favorite places to visit! The ambience is wonderful. Staff is always great, I haven’t had a bad experience so far. I love coming here for brunch. Drinks are a little pricey but strong and well made.

The NY strip was absolutely delicious and mouth watering! The place was a little hard to find as was not expecting to be in an art gallery. The only downside of the place is their in house beer list in not very extensive, but overall very good and great dinner

We were passing through Harrisburg today and are so glad we stopped here for lunch! The service was excellent (thanks, Lil) and the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely get the gravy fries! We will be stopping back here again soon.

Our experience at Millworks was top notch. From the service (shoutout to Amy B, she was fantastic) to the food, specifically the mushroom and truffle pizza, we couldn’t have been more pleased. Check out the beer too! The Hazy IPA was phenomenal!

Our excellent waitress SJ? E made this particular dinning experience extraordinary. She did a great job suggesting gluten free options that we didn't knew were possible. The Millworks is always top notch with a great atmosphere and wonderful food and drinks, and SJ made our experience much better and just very enjoyable.

The Millworks is always outstanding, but tonight our server, SJ, was so intuitive. My youngest son wasn't too hungry, so she suggested something small for him. He chose the delicious fries. He was thrilled. My friend and I split the deviled eggs, urban picnic, and a gluten-free smoked brisket pizza. All were delicious. My oldest kiddo had an amazing burger with fries. We all had fun interacting with her, even my kiddos. Will always recommend the Millworks as the best restaurant in the Harrisburg area. Thanks for the great experience, SJ!

The restaurant/bar area was so loud that, after turning around and walking out, our ears still hurt when we got to the car. No one there seemed to mind so maybe, like a cold swimming pool, you "get used to it". Most definitely not for us though.

My daughter had her wedding brunch here on a Sunday morning. We were placed in a dingy dark stuffy room upstairs with no ambience at all. The curtains were drawn to try and keep the sun out because the Mitsubishi air handler wasn't able to keep the room cool enough for a roomful of people. They did have a fan which we did have to use. The rest of the restaurant has such a good vibe that they really need to do something with this private area. The food was good, not exceptional, but good and the food was in cast iron dishes so it did stay nice and hot. My daughter had requested gluten and dairy free for some of her guests and nothing was provided on that end. My daughter also spoke with the server concerning lack of options for these folks and still nothing was provided as an alternative. We had one server for a party of 18 and it was a long wait for drinks because she had to run back and forth to the downstairs bar, she hustled and did her best. All in all we still had a great time because we were happy being together. I wouldn't book a private party here again due to limited/no options for our gluten and dairy free guests and because the room was so uninviting. I feel a 3 star is generous.

If I owned a restaurant (which I don't but if I did) I'd hire away the chef and mixologist from the Millworks. We enjoyed the mushroom pizza, house cheeseburger, batter fried chicken sandwich, and various small plates, all made with ingredients from local farms. The food was delicious and the restaurant's design was modern, fresh, open, and welcoming. We all left dreaming about those fried green tomatoes (with the most amazing breading) and the inventive drinks (you won't be disappointed by the Solstice or the Bouquet). The pizza had oyster, shitake, and crimini mushrooms, truffle oil, and a crust that was both crispy yet fluffy. How was that managed? While you wait for your table, explore the many art galleries and support local artisans. If you don't finish your meal with one of the Millworks' desserts, stop by the Broad Street Market - just across the street - and bring home a pie or other delectable treat. Combined with free onsite and lot parking, this area of Harrisburg is a true gem that shouldn't be missed.

Pre-Covid, we came here all the time and it was incredible from the food to the ambiance. We were able to come back to the restaurant about two weeks ago for the first time since the start of Covid and WOW. We didn’t think it could get any better than before but the food was FANTASTIC! Not to mention the service! Shout out to Daphne for being one of the best servers we’ve ever had! We had a large group and she was very quick and attentive! Can’t wait to come back again soon!

We were at Hershey park for the day and stumbled upon Millwork for dinner. It is a 10/10. It is as good as if not better than anything we have at home in the dc area. The whole space from art gallery, artist space, brewery, rooftop to the restaurant is top tier. Then there’s the food and cocktails. We had the mid town cocktail, pizza, Mac and cheese ravioli and fried green tomatoes. Huge portions and absolutely delicious. We immediately shared the location with friends and bookmarked it for any time we’re driving through Harrisburg.

Love Millworks! The roof is such a great place to eat and hang out. The pizzas are delicious, perfect for sharing. Their beers are also pretty good! Would definitely recommend to spend time with friends and family; I really love the atmosphere. Service is solid.

I gave it a 1 star simply because the food was not horrible. It could of been better but our waitress decided to stand at the bar and gossip with another coworker our entire stay, an lied an blamed it on being busy but I watched her the entire time. It saddens me because a lot of my colleagues told me to try this beautiful restaurant out for the atmosphere. Unfortunately, me and my family was not able to do that. My waitress was rude from the start. I felt rushed ordering my food, she rolled her eyes several times in-front of my kids and also decided to go back and forth with me about not being able to accommodate my family on simple things like straws and condiments that should be provided from the start. I had to do her job for her and it's sad that millworks is letting people like her represent their brand. My stepdaughter that is only 8 felt so uncomfortable to the point she was scared to ask for a refill, that should've been offered; which wasn't because our waitress went ghost any chance she got. She missed out on her blessing though we tip very well and she didn't get to experience that unfortunately.

The only reason I’m giving a 3 star review instead of a 2 star review is because our server was great. The food was lackluster. My husband and I both ordered the NY strip steak, MEDIUM RARE. The mashed potatoes, carrots, and gravy were great! The steaks however came out cooked medium well. We sent our steaks back. Our server told us we can get new steaks. When our new steaks arrived, mine was cooked medium and my husband’s was medium rare/medium. The cook was uneven apparently. The manager offered to give us a third steak, to which we declined. Why ruin a third steak, I figured. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all based on how poorly our steaks were prepared. I expected better for a $36 steak. The manager took off 25% off of each of our meals. I wouldn’t have charged a customer for a meal they were unhappy with, but that’s just me. I don’t recommend this place nor will I be back. Again, the server we had was gracious and attentive. The management seemed almost confused at how to handle our bill and I don’t think we should have been charged for our meals at all considering twice our plate was prepared poorly. I don’t recommend eating here, but the little shops they have inside are cute and I did buy a t shirt. But yeah, if you want steak cooked properly, avoid this place like the plague and go to Dodge City instead.

My partner and I had such a good experience at The Millworks brewery. Everyone was so nice. Our waitress, Kerry, was very attentive and sweet. Excellent drink suggestion- the sage. It was SO good. The food was also amazing. Food came out fast and hot! It was delicious as well.

They also have very cool shops and galleries to look in while you’re waiting to be seated. I had to fight the urge to purchase all of the rad things in Fennec. They also sell Elementary coffee -which is another favorite place of mine.
