BOTH of our dogs got influenza from this kennel! One also had an infected eye. Nobody ever called us to let us know, or did they call back when we notified them.
The flu spread to our other dog that wasn't there. Our three dogs were very sick. Obviously they don't disinfect these kennels properly! They cost us a fortune in vet bills and our dogs suffered. We use another kennel for years and they are fantastic, we used these people cause they were full.
Never again! It's not worth the cheap prices they charge!
Run away!

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. The lady that does my dogs hair is so nice and the dogs love her. She does a great job and is so friendly.

Milnerhaus is a great place to board your pet for one reason: they love dogs. My dog is always a happy camper when she stays at Milnerhaus. Ive been a client for over 20 years.

Had such a good experience doing the group training at the kennel with Al. He is all business and doesn’t really tolerate fooling around, he shows you how to correct your dogs bad behavior in an effective way.
I have a German Shepard puppy who I brought for the training right after he turned 4 months, the training last 6 weeks (every Monday). If you really want to have control of your dog and want to bring him/her with you anywhere, I 100% recommend coming here. His main focus during group training is teaching you how to control your dog with a leash and a pronged collar. If you listen to what he tells you and actually practice the commands and training at home during the week, it’s well worth the low price point.

Would give zero stars if possible. I brought my very high-spirited, very naughty dog there for group training classes. They use choke collars and are very unbending. There was a tiny Yorky puppy who also was required (!) to have a choke collar which could have collapsed her trachea and killed her. Thank goodness her family decided not to bring her back! I think I wrote a letter to the editor at the time about this AWFUL place.

The instructor showed off his Schutzhund-trained shepherd. Schutzhund was developed originally in 1920s Germany. Draw your own inferences from that.

With maturity my dog eventually grew out of her naughtiness and became the best dog I ever had, NO thanks to Milnerhaus. STAY AWAY!

We signed our pup for training classes and al is very knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely recommend them and pleased with the results.

Send my parents golden doodle for training then two years later my Bernese mountain dog poodle mix. We travel from Nazareth to Scranton for Al’s great training and value. Both dogs are great off leash in the yards. Great on leash where one now lives in a city. Also loved that the dogs got a bath each week bc it was good exposure and for my dog more comfortable since he doesn’t love water

Left my shepherd here for a week since going on vacation. I thot it we be good because they breed them and are affiliated with them so would get alot of interaction. Thier is none, they have a 4x6 lengthwise and a little area to go inside. They dont walk them or have any exercise. Left food and bones to keep him occupied, only gave him one and didnt receive the other 2 back I left with him. Pick up time is before 1, showed up 15 minutes after and got charged for a whole day, couldnt reimburse for half a day even. If your looking to put your dog into the pound this is the place.

Took our dog here for boarding while on vacation. This facility was far from good. There were "aggressive" German Shepards (not the shepards' fault). Upon arrival the staff just took our dog to a small caged area with a small outside area for the dogs. The outside was rocky and was not a good size for the size of dogs they boarded. They also did not take any contact information from us to contact us incase of emergency. They asked very little questions about our dog. When we picked up our pup after vacation and brought him home, we noticed an injury to his leg. It was a little bloody and upon further investigation we found dry blood on his pillow we left at this kennel for him to use. This implied that the injury occured while at the kennel and the staff did not notice it. Our dog is okay now, thankfully. But I would not recommend this kennel to anyone due to bad staff and poor facilities. We will not be using it again.

I would not recommend Milnerhaus Kennels for boarding. I ended up canceling my reservation after they explained their routine to me and after I observed the facility. The dogs do not get walked during the day and instead go to the bathroom inside their kennel area, which are cleaned out every day. They are kept outside during the day without attention and inside during the evening in a very tight space. I advise paying more elsewhere.
