Jason and his guys were great to work with! I wanted to build a patio in my backyard and the quotes I got from companies to do the whole thing were outrageous. I decided to do it myself but knew I needed help digging in my rocky soil and bringing in the base material. Jason and his guys excavated an area for my patio, put down the base, compacted it, and left sand in my backyard so I could screed and lay pavers. They saved me so much effort and money!

Jason was so easy to work with. He texted me updates on his schedule, followed through on his estimates, asked the right questions, and made sure I was happy with the work after they finished. That’s how you run a business! I couldn’t even get other companies to consistently respond to my calls or texts.

Honestly if you’re looking to put in a paver patio, don’t pay a company sky-high prices to do the whole thing, and don’t think about digging it yourself by hand. Jason and his crew know what they’re doing and they’ll save your back and your wallet!

I always try to give my business to local companies whenever possible. Jason and the team at Mini Backhoe Services did a great job fixing a large sinkhole in my backyard being caused by tree roots and an old septic tank. They kept me informed along the way explaining what was needed and why. I would highly recommend.

Had MBS at my home today to dig out a koi pond that I had been planning to do myself but didn't want to dig out (the hard part). I contacted MBS and worked with Jason who quickly gave me an estimate and answered all my questions and couldn't have been any more helpful. On dig day, his two man crew of Shane and Joey showed up prepared to do the excavation. They did everything I was hoping for and even fixed up my back yard with the soil they dug out which was unplanned, but worked out well. I would use them again for anything I need in the future and would recommend you do the same.
My only regret is not working in one of their sweet MBS T-shirts into my proposal.

I contracted with Mini Backhoe Services to dig out a portion of a hill in my backyard. The goal? To build an earthen patio for entertaining this spring and summer and beyond. The result? Perfection. Not only did they dig it out and haul it to the back of the yard to bury an infestation of poison oak (which they also turned over and tilled before covering), but they ensured the patio was graded and leveled in just the right way to avoid any erosion. The rates were more than reasonable and the work was top-notch (thanks, Brandon!) and if there's ever a need for such services again, they'll be the only company I call.

These guys are true professionals. Came out quickly to quote, booked my job in a reasonable time, showed up on time and prepared on work day, and the work itself was flawless. The operator they sent that day was Brandon, and he was awesome - a professional guy, always looking out for customer interests, and his skills as an equipment operator showed. Was in need of excavation so as to have waterproofing down to the footings of a building. MBS not only performed the excavation but coordinated with the waterproofing company so as to get the job completed.
