Miss Musique provided the music for our wedding our ceremony. As we planned the music, Andrea was available to answer our questions and guide us in making selections. Andrea was absolutely amazing to work with for our late-August wedding - we went with the string trio for our ceremony and electric violinist for our cocktail hour. The entire planning process was a breeze and I loved that she gave us the ability to select every single song and in the order we wanted to hear it throughout the evening (she has quite a large and impressive repertoire of music to select from). All of our guests still rave about the musicians and how much fun they had because of them - and we couldn’t agree more! Pay attention to this review if you do nothing else! I recently dealt with the tragedy of losing my mother in a house fire. As part of honoring my mother, I wanted to give her the special funeral I could possibly come up, but several issues were against me. First, I am inexperienced. I have never planned a funeral and was completely lost with what I should do, what would be too much, and what was appropriate or not for my mother. I had the idea of having some kind of musician come to my mother's funeral, but I was afraid that it would be too loud and boisterous for a sacred ceremony. However, I listened to my heart, and decided to seek out a musician to help me. I started the process of searching for different professionals online, but was striking out left and right with singers, and instrumentalists. That is where Miss Musique saved the day.

I reached out to their team within an hour, someone was already emailing me to set up a phone consultation. They were extremely professional, attentive, and compassionate. Even more importantly perhaps for someone in my situation, is that they were patient with me. I had a million questions, and they answered each of them carefully with the understand that I was someone who just love their beloved mother. Within a day, we had everything locked in, planned out, and arranged. I was worried that because the company was making things so easy, that it would be too good to be true. All the way up until the morning of the funeral, I was still scared that something would go wrong because the Miss Musique team was locked in and ready that it seemed impossible. However, I was wrong.

Even leading up to the day of the funeral, I was still scrambling to lock things in. On a last minute notice, I asked the team to move up their arrival team and surprisingly, they immediately obliged without any hesitation.

Upon arrival.the violinist searched for me and immediately got to work, blending right in with a room full of deeply wounded friends and family seamlessly. They didn't need to be told anything. They simply set up, and started playing classical music and other requests without issue. The music the funeral played was ok, but it became so repetitive that it had actually become somewhat of a distraction for those of use who had been there for an hour already. Once the violinist began playing beautiful music, it changed the tone of the room completely and felt like I was honoring my mother in the most beautiful way possible.

The team agreed to play music while we closed my mother's casket, and although tragic, it was so powerful and moving for us all.

From there, the violinist then drove to another location, set up, and began playing again while we all placed roses onto my mother's casket. To this day, when I hear classical music, I right away am taken back to that day. I have always loved classical music, but I believe music only has its most pure meaning when we attach it to a memory. Thanks to Miss Musique, classical music has taken a new meaning. It was what my ears heard the very last time I saw my mother.

Miss Musique played the electric violin for my October 13th, 2023 wedding in Glen Mills, PA. Having grown up playing violin myself, this was one of the most meaningful parts of the wedding for me. The booking process was so quick and thorough that I immediately knew I made the right decision in booking her. She made selecting our music fun and easy. She was early, set up on time, and even got some beautiful videos of parts I would have missed otherwise as the bride. I could not recommend her enough. I cannot say enough about them, they were wonderful and made our wedding day feel like a fairy tale. We had a lot of fun looking through the options (of which there were so many) and our guests absolutely adored them. They are very professional and sounded amazing. We had them for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I would recommend getting the amplification package for cocktail hour. They were beautiful and loud enough to hear when you were nearby (or for the ceremony when people were quiet) but if you have a decent amount of guests (we had 175), their chatter tends to drown out the music. (This was no fault of the quartet, they were perfect!). We did not get it and it would be the only thing I would have changed. I really can't say enough about them, I would highly recommend them, both for their great performance and their very reasonable price.
