Being a martial artist, I have the privilege of meeting awesome teachers and Instructors and it's been 5 yrs + since met PROFESSOR and I will say the Professor knows his Martial Arts, he will push you hard and will set challenges for you to meet you will think he's being unkind, but NOPE WHAT HE IS DOING IS bringing out the best in you.and that's hard for some people to understand but it's probably the best proven method out there and those that prevailed understand

Great place to train. You will learn a lot QUICKLY. The facility has everything needed for success, Including the people. Everyone is kind and helps each other out. 5 stars

I really enjoy this gym The owner gives you all the tools necessary to be a great fighter at the end of the day it’s up to you how far you get after seeing some negative comments I would just like to reaffirm that the owner is a standup guy and I suggest that you read and understand the commitment you were making before complaining I was able to go in and talk to the owner in person and he was very understanding about my situation and was willing to work with me

I've trained here for the past 3 years. The gym is clean and offers great classes for sparring and jiu jitsu. Professor Pereira has taught me a lot of boxing, muay thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Classes are great for adults and kids, highly recommend for anyone interested in joining an MMA gym.

My 9 y/o son and I joined in August. Here, we get to train together, which is a lot of fun and a unique experience. Professor, coaches, and classmates are great. Do the Muay Thai and BJJ classes back-to-back for an intense 2 hr workout. Been shedding weight since I started.

I would seriously recommend this place to anyone. The professors here not only know exactly what they’re talking about but actually try to get you to understand it and apply it. Everything I learn here I find an applicable use for when sparring. Good atmosphere with inviting and helpful students. Best workouts I’ve ever gotten and the gym itself has everything you could think of.

I highly recomend this team, My kid trains there, I like that the coach is always while to answer any question, is always helpfull.

Unlike most martial arts places that teach sportsmanship and respect, the owner allows the bigger kids to bully the smaller ones. When approached about it he made it clear that he isn't responsible for what happens in his dojo and that we should approach the parents of the bully outside of class.

He advertises this as a class for kids but on many occasions has said that "He is not a babysitter", and isn't responsible for what the kids do to each other while in his care. Waiting for pickup, other parents have complained about their kids getting bullied, but were locked into the one year contract, and kept hoping it would get better. He is well aware of the bullying situation. After a bunch of complaints, he said that he made the bully do extra push ups, but then indicated that there wasn't much more he could do.

This place is pretty expensive and he requires a one year contract. He won't let you out of the contract just because your child is being hurt by one of his classmates. That behavior isn't his responsibility, because he isn't a "babysitter".

If you are looking for your kid to gain self confidence, stay far, far away. He will be a target and victim to the bullies in the class. If your kid is mean and aggressive, then maybe this is what you are looking for.

No direction, no actual technical training you rely on fellow students in the class to teach you and most don't know themselves Buyer Beware!

Do not come here, the gym is for kids, the professor is unprofessional and on vacation half the time. This place is a SCAM. AVOID

My son is having a great experience so far. He is excited to go to classes each week and is learning a lot from Professor Periera. When we signed up we got all the team gear and the monthly fee is very reasonable for what you get. I appreciate the team spirit they are cultivating and I also think it's a very inclusive environment. There are team members who are various ages, fitness levels, and both men and women which is so great to see. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone interested.

Professor Robson, Professor Kenny, Professor Kirk, Professor Yesi and coach Matt set a great example of humility and a positive learning environment. Everyone I roll with are kind and good natured win or lose. But everyone works hard.
I’m very thankful for the time I’ve spent with the team so far. Looking forward to more time on the matt!

Great Academy! I am 53 and I have had the opportunity to train at a number of Academies. Team Pereira is awesome! No Egos, Great Students, Great Professors, and Great Facilities. I recommend Team Pereira to everyone at any age or skill level. BJJ will change your life!

This is a place I would recommend to anyone. I have really enjoyed my time here, the professor makes thing really easy to understand. It is really about the technique. He wants to see everyone win and pushes everyone to their limit. The team is very friendly and helps out a lot. Anyone who sees it differently is because they have not put in the effort. It is very reasonable.

I have been there for a few months and learned a lot so far. I didnt want a gym that trained in "hypothetical" fighting.learning a few moves then going live is exactly what will make you better. Everyone wants to help you get better. Trial by fire is most times the best way to learn.train like its real life is my philosophy. Great gym, and great people
