10If I could leave a negative star review I would. The worst company to deal with and their customer service is horrendous. Cristy needs to go for some customer training. If you have a choice please pick another company. WORST WORST WORST.

I'm disappointed! We have been with Modern gas for 3 years, since moving here to PA. Having to Pay for a service that is supposed to be professional and knowledgeable in sustainability, is questionable. I called in an emergency "possible" gas leak over the weekend. It took 2 calls before "someone" finally got back to us. I explained that we had just filled our tank 9 days ago, and were empty. Furthermore, The receptionist had told us during our service order that the amount of gas would sustain us, until the 19th. She was WRONG! It was explained to me the reason for the "gas smell". Our tank was empty, it did not sustain our family until the service date of the 19th. We waited for a follow up call. We never heard back from them, after he said he would call "the boss", regarding service. It's a shame that the safety of maintaining families, is not of paramount.
I would have given a 1 star review after speaking with carol in their honesdale customer service she was very unprofessional. I called back to see what their process was for removing the tanks and I spoke to Ashley and she was absolutely wonderful and I actually decided to stay with the company because of her. How your employees speak to your customers matters. Never had any bad experiences with the company other than the one time. Installers & delivery drivers are professional and nice.
Not once, have we ever had an issue with this company. In fact I call and speak with a pleasant phone voice, who is responsive to my request for fuel. They are usually out the next day, I believe them to be honest. Their tanks were here when we bought the home. I suppose I could shop around and consider a different company, but why? To save a couple pennies, thanks but no thanks! Modern Gas really has been terrific! My only complaint they close at 4: 30. I like to pay promptly over the phone, I'll try you folks earlier tomorrow.
Just hung up with Megan, what a great personality! Loved her! She was professional, personable and just all around GREAT! We appreciate people like Megan because so many people want to rush people off the phone and Megan took her time explained everything to us and did it all with an up beat pleasant personality. Thanks Megan! We appreciate your great customer service!
