Moland House reviews
7The walking trails are very nice. We found a Geocache while we were here as well. We will definitely be back in the summertime for an official tour!
It is a nice historical place. Trail goes under bridge along the creek and connects with the park akros the street. Paved path. Good for taking pictures. Some reenactment is taking place once a year but do not remember when exactly.
The reenactment, although loud, was fun to watch. It invovled a few gunfire shots and one cannon ball fire shot.
There were plenty of stalls to browse period relevant activities.
There are guided tours to view the interiors of the main house.
The lawns are clean, and the entry fee was $10 for a family.
I attended a funeral reception for Peter Bruner. He is a very important person to Molland house. Even in death, Pete was still teaching history.
Beautiful area with amazing history. I have been driving by for years and had no idea this was in my back yard.
Very beautiful historic house and pleasant grounds for walking around
A not well known part of US Revolutionary War history. It is where Lafayette first met General Washington and joined his army.
