Molly's Ice Cream, Somerset PA

Molly's is a great stop for soft serve. The girls are so kind to come out to the car at drive thru for your order and then deliver your ice cream treats. More than ample amount with a small cone. Its top heavy so Ask for a cup before it lands in your lap!

Slow service. Took my daughter 3 tries to order since they were out of some options and didn't note it. Kids complained the milkshakes were really thick and hard to drink. Grandfather threw his ice cream away. I got one of the specials and it was pretty good. We probably won't go back due to price and service.

A random stop on my drive back to Pittsburgh. Absolutely delicious! Vanilla was heavenly and the salted caramel was unexpectedly delicious. Creamy creamy ice cream. Cannot wait for your 2023 season!

Unfortunately they have closed for the season. So mark your calendar for 2023, to make sure you try this place out. The ice cream is amazing. It is so tasty and you can really tell that it's homemade. Get two scoops you deserve it.

Great ice cream but closed after labor day till spring 2023. If you can not wat that long there is a local DQ due South a mile or so on the right.

To find a place like this still in operation today is a real treat that brings back some happy childhood memories.

Second time there. House brand Maple ice cream with pecans. EXCELLENT. Other good flavors had by others with me. I'll be back.

Wouldn't advise you to try the Orange Pineapple Shake! Was very runny and kinda tasted like yogurt with fruit chunks in. #notafan Though the rest of the order was fine!

Mollys is a good soft serve icecream stand. I think the prices are a little high compared to the icecream stand at Jennerstown. The bananna split is defiantly a better buy at Jennerstown, it's a larger portion and a better price. Even with the price of gas is drive to Jennerstown.

LOVE her sherbert! No other ice cream stand sells such fruity deliciousness! Reasonably priced, very cute set up, friendly staff!

While I was there, there were bees in the building. The employee, who was very friendly, took my order, I paid, then she sprayed the bees (next to the nuts). After she sprayed, she took another order and then made my ice cream. She didn’t wash her hands after handling the money or after spraying the bees, nor did she wear gloves.

The ice cream was very good, but I think there should be a review of hand washing and glove wearing when handling food.

Molly's ice cream is so very good! The lady who waited on us was very kind & had a great attitude! Both workers were moving pretty fast for all the customers they had! I would recommend going there! It was very enjoyable!

Super lovely. We had the dirty mudslide and berry cheesecake hand-dipped, as well as a cone of soft serve. The hand-dipped were both super flavorful. The waffle cones were clearly made in house, and the server was really helpful and walked us through the menu.

I have been assured that this place hasn't been around since the 50's by people who have lived in the area for many years, but it feels like it's a classic ice cream shop. The portions are HUGE and the prices very good, but most importantly the ice cream is very good quality. Seriously, I don't know why anyone in Somerset would go to Dairy Queen (which isn't bad) when this is available. I am sad that I didn't have the excuse to go back again during my visit. Well worth the very short wait.

Excellent ice cream! Their hand dipped is excellent and the waffle cones knock it out of the park!

Got a one scoop in a homemade waffle cone and could barely finish it. I tried the peach cobbler, it was delicious.
