Monroe Hotel, Butler PA

This little gem was recommended by a colleague and I’m so glad I took her advice. The food and service is incredible. I chose Italian wedding soup as a side with my entree Mediterranean chicken and both were delicious. The chicken breasts are topped with a layer of spinach, artichoke and caper sauce, then black olives and feta. It was so good I took a friend the next evening. We had the Nantucket which was white fish stuffed with crab and topped with cheese sauce and a burger. The food was amazing! If you get a chance to visit here you won’t be disappointed. The service was excellent both times.

Good food, generous portions. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was very busy the day we went. Rather noisy due the the crowds.

Always the best food in the area, never disappoints, in 30 years going there, and the bar is always a great place to watch sports and cheer on our Pittsburgh teams on the weekends.

Always a pleasure dining at the Monroe Hotel. They have a wonderful selection of foods that will cure your appetite. They have lasagna, spaghetti, eggplant parmesan, chicken parmesan, manicotti, ravioli, meatballs, subs, burgers, steaks, chicken, wings, salads, ETC. They also have many types of desserts. The staff are very Professional, friendly and attentive, especially Deidra she is awesome. It's always a pleasure eating at the Monroe Hotel every time we visit Butler.

My soon to be wife really loves everything about this place. She loves Italian food and thier chocolate fudge cake was the best

Everything is fantastic here! The service, the food, the prices! Love the buffalo chicken salad and the French club! Yum! Everything on the menu is tasty.
Honestly, the best salads in town!

My Mom had a nice looking steak but it had no flavor at all. No seasoning, salt/pepper etc. Thankfully the waitress took it off the bill.
I had a very good Reuben sandwich that I could only eat half of it was so big! My son had a pasta dish that he said was good also.

Absolutely tje best Pata sauce around. Fast friendly service great atmosphere. Definitely our go-to restaurant.

Definitely not a terrible experience, did not get to try the food, which may have changed my rating.but definitely an interesting place to be on a friday night.did have a good time though

Held our monthly family dinner at the restaurant. Service was great, food great as always. Had the full steak salad and could not eat it all.

French club, French onion soup, wings, shrimp, salad, Italian, if it's on the menu it's good!

Food is really good, usually a full house so sometimes you have to wait but it's worth it.

Went again on Saturday and got the monroe burger, added banana peppers and it was really good. I only ate part of it, it was big. I asked for med well and it was perfect! Would definitely return again! Dont mine the picture I almost forgot and started cutting and smooshing it so I could eat! It was packed so service was slow but we understood. Others got a pastrami sandwich and a chicken sandwich and they both liked them.

Great place. Food smelled and tasted Great! My Daughter had a Buffalo Chicken Salad and I had a Steak Salad. Both are Recommended! The large salads are filling. We asked for containers to go. My Granddaughter had the basgheti as she called it. Fresh Italian bread served with drinks. Overall an 8 up
