Montesini Pizza reviews
14My favorite pizza and cheese fries in the area. Had there cheese steak not a fan it was just your basic cheese steak and over priced.
Got a Alfredo pasta meal. And there was no flavor! No salt, no pepper, just noodles in a cream sauce. So before I could even eat it I had to add things. Salt, pepper, garlic and grated parmesan cheese and NOW it tastes like Alfredo. I used to love the pasta dishes here but the last 2 times have been a huge disappointment. The bread sticks are delicious and it's hard to mess up a side salad. I feel there needs to be some quality control. Just saying
Montesini’s is always my go-to when we’re ordering pizza. I have persuaded several friends to start ordering from there as well and they haven’t turned back. Whether sticking to our faves or trying something new, we are never disappointed with the food that arrives. Their delivery is prompt and friendly. Would highly recommend if you want consistently good food that is seasoned with love!
I've lived in Mayfair for about 5 years now. After five years of terrible spongey pizza crust from many different pizza places, I finally found this amazing hidden gem. Montesini pizza crust is amazingggg, the sauce is incredible too. Just great pizza! I am in love with the tomato pie, I also get the cheese pizza for my kids and it's equally amazing. I am so happy my days of bad pizza are over. I don't care that we have to pick it up, it's weeeell worth it!
I love this place best pizza anywhere not to busy love eating at the tables watching whatever is on the tv great wait staff behind the counter always get the fresh stuff well worth the wait
Been coming here 25 years at least Great food Great Owners! Had many parties here as well! Food Excellent!
They tried it with this cheesesteak. I gave 3 stars because in general. I like the pizza. But this cheesesteak tasted exactly how it looks. Unfulfilling, bland and a waste of money. If I wanted what this is giving I could have went to the market for Amoroso rolls (no offense) and steakum.
Firstly, this place just lost 35+ new customers, publicity and money.
Visiting the city for a huge event that I am hosting with my team, upon going inside and grabbing a menu I then returned to my car.
I called the counter and said I would like to place an order to pick-up. She then said “delivery or take-out”. I told her I am waiting outside and will come in when foods ready and she said I must come in to place an order.
Well there goes this place. And good job to the young broad who answered the phone and didn’t know how to take an order.
Renzis Pizza is what this venue will be eating from, good luck!
This used to be my favorite place, but like all other Northeast Philly Pizza restaurants the glory days are over. Maybe its the fault of covid, they can't find employees who care about food. Maybe they are cutting costs? Whatever the reason, the quality of several items have just gone so wrong. Mozzarella sticks delivered in tinfoil, in a blob of grease and broken breading, inedible. Fries soaked through with grease, not crunchy & fluffy as the menu states. I ordered mega fries, and they used maple syrup bacon.it was not a delicious combination. Mushroom appetizers were not washed before breading, because who doesn't like eating dirt? The thing that upset me the most was the calzone. I ordered mine baked. Most of the dough was so hard it was inedible. The calzone contained sauce, that mixed with the Ricotta cheese to make a blobby mess on my plate, and was not what a calzone is supposed to be. Will not give them any more chances.
Really good pizza the sauce is really good and its taste good cold to you can tell the dough is hand made and not bought
We love this place! It’s a pizza place inside a strip mall but they have a restaurant in the back of the pizza shop with tables and servers. Linguine and mussels are amazing and their prices are more than fair! And yes My sister has to always take pics of her food
I usually love their pizza but tonight I picked up a large pie and the bottom was so hard you could knock on it very disappointing because I’m hungry and to tired to cook that’s y I ordered to begin with
Absolutely the best pizza in town! My wife and I have tried many places in Northeast Philadelphia but Montesini never fails to exceed expectations. Always fresh ingredients always amazing taste.they totally rock!
