Montgomery Lorimer Park reviews
30Perfect picnic spot, with space for people to walk, play games, outdoor cooking and nature trail.
Lorimer is great. There's several miles of trail in the park. The overlook rock is a cool spot. There's access to the rail-trail which extends in both directions from Lorimer.
If you have never been here ur missing out on a beautiful place to visit, there is a very nice bike n walking path that runs a good distance in either direction, threw the woods along the water n across train tracks, there is places to barbuque, also a rugged trail that will take you to the top of a cliff that you will be able to look out it some of the park from up top, bathrooms are also on site, plenty parking available, you will want to come back again, I never get tired of this park n my kids love this place to climb, get wet, bike ride or just exploring.
Another favorite park! Great place to take the family. Autumn is a beautiful time for those who like taking photos!
Great place to have a family BBQ or to go hiking we set up a volley ball net and played a few games all in all it was a great time. The place was clean and plenty of room. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone.
Very pretty, clean&safe, Sooo green, nice variety of things to see along trail.cows, swallows, Fox Chase Farm, open fields, hills&flats, creek.
This is an excellent park to bring the family. We like hiking up the hills and see the water. During Spring and Autumn season it’s a very attractive spot for an outing. We will always be back. Recommended.
My family and I love this park! We host birthday parties here, graduations, BBQs, you name it! The park rangers are super friendly and always are checking on you and making conversation. The trails lead to some beautiful views, you might come across a horse or two.
A great park to take a walk in or to get yourself in shape for hiking season. Plenty of hills to go up n down. Has a bike path made out of packed gravel that goes from Rockledge to Byberry Rd.in Huntingdon Valley. Enough wildlife to keep you interested. Pennypack creek runs thru here and is stocked with trout. Picnic tables a pavilion open hearth fire for cooking. Historical points of interest and a ranger station. Bathrooms right here n port a potties at parking lots. Fun things for the kids on the calender. Also right next to Fox Chase Farm n across Pine Rd.is Pennypack Park in Philly.
Beautiful park with fields, woods, bridges, and great views. Great place to get away for a bit.
Nice trail and rocks you can climb up for the scenery. Public fire pit that we were able to use for a nice fire. Big field for throwing around a frisbee or playing a game. The park ranger was also great and we had a nice chat about the park. Pretty well kept park.
Jacqui again. So beautiful here. Amazing rock formations that are a must see! If you enjoy nature, you will love Lorimer park!
Absolutely awesome park in the neighborhood. We went off the trails on the map. We saw a couple's bark painting on a hill, a well-balanced shrine near a small creek, some unknown fungus on a tree stump, and a resting yellow-fur fox that got scared away by us. I'd recommend this park for everyone.
Wonderful walking trails and the huge Council Rock, along with a footbridge and covered bridge. Also there's access to the Pennypack Trail. The Pennypack Rail Trail goes right through the park and continues to the Pennypack reserve and beyond
Awesome place for a walk, jog, run, bike whatever suits your fancy. Great wide trails, good scenery.
Really nice clean and organized picnic facilities. Secluded with access to Creek, on duty park rangers, bathrooms, fire pits, pavilions. Plenty of open ground for games and trails for hiking.
One of the best places for picnicking and just to relax.clean place.beautiful nature.many many geese.clean water.children can bathe.loved this park
Wooded trails for hiking, running and biking. Fishing in the Pennypack Creek is popular. Lorimer Park has many fewer people in the park than the adjacent Pennypack Park.
I use many of their trails for walking (used to run there) and the bird sounds from the local population is very peaceful. Bikers are not intrusive, most trails are safe for children but require caution, and the barbecue area is clean and very neat.
