Was told they accepted tricare, had previously had cleanings by them and it was covered. Then I received a phone call AFTER my third appointment saying they no longer accept it and I had to pay. Additionally, I had gone to see them for an oral evaluation due to a pregnancy tumor on my gums that I developed during my third trimester of pregnancy. Dr Bernard was on leave and I was seen by a stand in provider. This dentist made me feel so uncomfortable during the appointment, calling in other hygienists to ‘come and look’ because she hadn’t seen a tumor like this since dental school. I was so embarrassed already by it. And it made me feel like a circus freak that she was telling others to come and see without even asking me.

The office and medical rooms were clean. The professionals were friendly with short wait times. It was easy to schedule another appointment.

Merriam is the best dental assistant/hygienist. She is gentle and always shows concern for my comfort. Dr. Bernard is easy to talk to and the hours are very flexible. I've been a patient for 5 or 6 years now and will continue to remain a patient

Dr. Bernard is an exceptional dentist with the best chair side demeanor. His staff are by far the friendliest and efficient I’ve ever had to deal with. I drive two hours now that I’ve moved just to stay with this dental practice. Simple the best!

The staff was so great. The office is clean with all the latest technology. The procedure I had was pain free. I highly recommend using Montour dental for all your dental needs.

I went in for a first appointment screening i gave them my documents ie license insurance proof and new patient paper work. As soon as I went in clearly she was new, Dentist began using a tartar scrapper to examine and poke my gums. Although this was painful I trusted they knew what they were doing. However after she finished herself and the head dr informed me that I had quite a bit of bleeding and needed a deep cleaning because of it. I thought to myself wouldn't your gums bleed as well if they were poked and proded. They never cleaned my teeth like a normal visit and informed me that I would need to seek my pcp for my blood pressure issues in order to perform the deep cleaning that I needed. On my way out I seen my insurance paper work sitting with the receptionist which I asked to have back. She did oblige and I left. Later I realized they never gave me my driver's license back either and when I called to come get it they let me know they had no idea what happened to it and told me I should have gotten it before I left. So just to recap my first visit they kept/lost my ID, never cleaned my teeth, poked and proded at my gums with a tartar scrapper and last but not least left me with an open ended procedure of how to have my teeth cleaned. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I

Dr. Bernard and his team are great! Service is fast but thorough. They’re good at communicating and answering any questions you have. I’ve been going to them for several years and will keep coming back.
