Monyer Electric installed our new whole house generator in a highly professional manner. From site location, sizing, scheduling and installation the entire process was handled in a professional manner. In particular, the installation crew with whom I had the most face to face interaction was very respectful about minimizing the construction impacts to the house and our presence as well as answering any questions I had. Would I use Monyer Electric again? Yes - this is the second time I've used them for a generator installation.

Monster Electric installed a solar generator system at my residence. The inspector for the township checked it out and commented that Monyer did an excellent job. I am very pleased with this system and it appears to be working well.

BEWARE, avoid this company at all costs. Scam artist extraordinaire. We contracted Nate Monyer in November of 2021 to install a Generac whole house generator. We were told by him that he had a unit in stock and could have it installed late February of 2022. Although I felt his price was high, I agreed because he had it in stock. I gave him a deposit in excess of $6,000 with the balance to be paid when completed. February got a call, delayed until March. April then May avoids emails calls, finally I was told that the Generator was not being delivered to them because of supply shortages. But wait, YOU said it was in stock. I requested a refund. They would send a refund but keep $500 for restocking fees! When I questioned what they were restocking, he changed his story to “it is for administrative fees”. Then he told me he would take the generator off his show room floor to install late June. That story then changed to he had one from another customer who wasn’t in a hurry and I could have his (yeah right another poor guy who won’t get his on time). Nate just kept fabricating excuses and apparently got lost in his own tales. Bottom line I finally gave up and did receive a refund minus $500. He took advantage of an elderly couple. Be smarter than I was, bad karma here.

My Generac installed by Monyer wouldn't kick after running out of propane. Their technical support was able to get me fired right back up!

Monyer did a excellent job from the initial contact all the way through to the installation. Sean, my salesman was upfront and honest about everything and they were able to make reasonable exceptions to meet my budget. They were clear about the process from permitting to scheduling. The office ladies were pleasant and helpful even when I had the most ridiculous questions. Special thank you to Emmy, Brittany and Catherine! The install team arrived on time and were ready to get down to business on the day of my long awaited installation. All of my expectations were exceeded! Thank you Monyer Electric!

So what can I say. I have an $11k that I was paid upfront and installed but I cannot use it at all. And I currently do not have power in my house. There were suppose to contact PECO to make sure that the gas meter was large enough to sustain the generator. The tech that installed the generator said there was a gas leak and to call PECO. I called PECO and a tech came out and discovered a few leaks on the connection line that Monyer installed. Also he said that the meter was not larger enough so he shut the unit off. He said to contact Monyer to see if they got approval from PECO. Monyer said yes. I contacted PECO and they said they were never approved and that a much larger meter was needed. I contacted Monyer and they stated this “if we do not hear from PECO we ASSUME it is good to go. They assume! Well your assumption is costing me. I hope everyone at Monyer now makes sure they have enough BTU’s. Unacceptable! Do your due diligence!

Couldn’t be happier with the Team at Monyer Electric. Back in September 2020, we met with David Pogue (Sales) to order a new Generac generator. The sales process was relaxed, David is obviously very knowledgeable and he tailored a solution to meet our needs. Monyer were also the most competitive quote we received amongst the four Firms we approached. Whilst the delivery of the generator was delayed by ~6 months due to COVID-19 related issues, the Team at Monyer kept us updated throughout the process – thank you to Brittney and Catherine in particular for the regular updates. When the time came to install the generator, Paul, Dan and Team did an outstanding job. They were efficient, friendly and great communicators throughout the installation process. Thank you again to the Team at Monyer – we won’t hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

We wanted to install a whole-home generator and Monyer did a great job from quote to installation. They patiently answered all of our questions and helped us understand our options so we could choose the best solution for us. Installed for a month now and we've already experienced one power outage with the generator doing its job flawlessly. The peace of mind knowing we don't have to worry about losing power is amazing. Highly recommend Monyer for their knowledge, customer care and professionalism.

Whole House Generator installed. Professional, Courteous and transparent organization. Recommend this company for Generator Installation for reliable and trustworthy service. If you are shopping for a Generator the most important aspect of the job is the installer. After this unit was installed there was a bad part from the factory that the Electrician from Monyer found. After dealing with his office and Generac, generac initially was going to replace the part. The team at Monyer realized this is a new unit and the customer deserves to have a new unit, and they convinced the factory to ship a new unit to replace the unit not working. When you purchase a large appliance such as this, you only deal with the installer never the manufacturer. Dependability and reliability of your installer is key.choose wisely. Monyer was my best decision I made. Will highly recommend them to anyone for electrical work.
