Moore's Furniture, Pottstown PA

Initially I found the process a little confusing, but then when we put our details in, the most helpful advisor Sam Peacock couldn't have made it all simpler. Thank you Sam so much for all the help and answering my constant stream of questions.

I recently bought a furniture set from Moore's. Everything was great for about two hours after we got the mattress on the bed, but the bed soon broke on the top left and bottom right. I was unhappy and emailed Moore's. Once they got the email the next morning, they contacted me immediately and repaired the issue the same day. Unfortunately, a few days later, the bed broke on the top right side. Again, I emailed them, all frustrated. So once more, as soon as they got the email, they reached out. They offered me a couple of options, and I said that I just wanted the bed to be taken away. No issues or arguments- they came out the same day to get the bed out and let me know the refund for it would arrive in about two weeks. We did keep the bedside tables, chest, and dresser w/mirror, though, as those had no problem. In the end, I ordered a metal platform off of Amazon as well as a fabric headboard since I'd be hard pressed to find wood that matched exactly.

The moral of the story isn't that Moore's sells bad furniture or not to buy from them; quite the opposite actually. I hope that, from my story, you're able to see how proficiently and professionally Moore's handled a bad situation that was beyond their control. While I'd usually consider myself relatively easy to deal with, I did not present my best face with Moore's, yet they never responded negatively, only with helpfulness and expedience. I would absolutely recommend Moore's, and the remaining furniture that I have is simply lovely. If you have an issue, Moore's will take care of you, plain and simple.

When choosing to buy furniture from a local US based company, be sure to choose a company that values its customers and employees. Moore's Furniture is no longer that company!

I highly recommend Moore's if you are looking for quality furniture. My new sofa and chair were just delivered. Delivery guys Mike and Steve were awesome. They were careful and courteous, and even moved my other furniture back. My salesperson, Linda Christy was very patient with me as it took me forever to choose the right fabric for both pieces. I also like that the sales people let you browse instead of following you thru the store. If you need help, they are there. I have purchased most of my furniture from Moore's and will continue to return.

Exceptional service! I found what I wanted and more, had a super knowledgeable salesperson (Bob) who helped me customize my fabrics. Reasonable prices for high quality products.

I just placed my order at Moores. I was satisfied until the salesperson Nathan said ok let’s go upstairs and get everything done so we can get out of here. He was rushing me cause he wanted to make sure he was out of there by 6: 00 o’clock. Than after he said he would take care of my order until I was ready for it I got a call the next day asking me to set up my delivery date.

I wanted to add to my review to let anyone out there know that if they plan on purchasing furniture from Moores to make sure you ask if you will be receiving the floor model or brand new. I happen to go back to Moores the next day looking for another piece and as I was looking around I saw that on two of my pieces said sold on them. I let Nathan know that I wanted brand new pieces for my new home. He looked shocked and annoyed and and said oh I didn’t know that. I knew that the couch and chair that I purchased was in stock cause I was told this on a previous visit. Now for the table and chairs I bought I was than told that was the last set. I asked why I was not told this information and he had no answer. I asked for a discount since I would be getting the floor model and he said they don’t do that. I have never encountered this before as everywhere else I have made purchases they have disclosed this information to me and since it was the floor model I was given a discount.

Nice stuff, just not the style or price range I was looking for. Staff was kind and helpful.

Huge selection of quality products. The sales staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about both their products and interior design. They give you all the time you need to make a major purchase. Buying furniture is as painful as buying a car. The people at Moore's eases some of that.

Such a great experience here! Linda was so incredibly helpful in the Limerick location and we found the perfect dining table + chairs for our apartment. The delivery process was quick and seamless and the team that brought up the furniture were incredibly kind and quick, as well. Overall, a great place to purchase furniture from and we’ll continue to visit Moore’s in the future whenever we need furniture.

I had a great experience at Moore’s Furniture in Chester Springs. This was my first visit to Moore’s. I went with the intention of scoping it out and moving on to other stores to do some comparison shopping. I was introduced to my sales consultant, Bob Roberts. Bob and I discussed my needs, and I went exploring. Bob was the best type of sales consultant. He was usually in the vicinity when I needed him, but he never hovered. He was able to answer all of my questions and explain differences between prices of different pieces. In a very short time I determined I could end my shopping trip. I found exactly what I was looking for at Moore’s and had no need to continue my comparison shopping! All items I ordered were in stock and were delivered within a week of my purchasing them. A great experience at Moore’s Furniture with Bob Roberts!

We bought a dining room set from Moore’s in November. Had visited the showroom several times before, so knew exactly what we wanted, same as the display model on floor. Exactly same. We were there with our salesperson for 3 1/2 hrs. At most parts you wanted to help the salesperson, as a matter of fact my husband did, such as finding wood sample, that salesmen couldn’t locate etc. Worse experience we ever had. Okay, we got passed that, figured he had a bad day. Called to check on furniture delivery schedule, as we were told February or March. No response, was told they left voicemail, which we did not receive and were going to check again but of course never got that response either. Called today asking if our salesperson could tell us the exact color of our chair cushions as we wish to purchase rug. Read him the specific color code on invoice, was going to get right back to us. That never happened either. They have great products but need some better sales-personal and management. Our last purchase from Moore’s. Hoping that when furniture comes in it is right because don’t know how anyone can read what the sales person scribbled on our receipt.

Loved shopping at Moore's! At the start, I was impressed by the website. The "about" section really sold us. We like American made, family owned, customer focused, smaller businesses. Moore's is exactly that! They have SO MANY beautiful couches to choose from, it would have been so difficult to choose without our list of needs. We brought our 5 year old who loved the cookies and the kid's section. The employees were kind and knowledgeable. Elaine helped us with a tape measure and staying present/checking in while we browsed for more than an hour. She did an excellent job of making sure we had our needs met without that high-pressure, on you like a shadow, sales technique you get elsewhere. We had intended to visit many stores and really take our time selecting a new couch, but Moore's was our first and last stop!
