Moore's Laundromat, Manheim PA

Washers smell like mildew, don't use enough water for a normal load, and often don't work. Waste of money. There are much better options within a 10-15 drive.

This is the only laundromat in town as of a year ago. It's now twice as crowded at peek hours with a gamble on parking limited to 6 spaces and usually never any street parking because of the nearby houses.

I've been going here since moving to Manheim 6 years ago almost once a week and spent anywhere between $6-$10 each time (prices also rose 50 cents sometime around the other laundromat in town closing) That's a good chunk of money, and that's only one person of the hundreds who use the facility weekly.

I shouldn't have to put tape over buttons that don't work. I shouldn't have to search high and low for missing clothes because for some reason the machine did whatever with them (usually socks). I shouldn't have to worry if the coin machines are stocked. I shouldn't have to worry if the machines are going to eat my coins. I shouldn't have to worry if the washer door doesn't lock and floods when the water pushes the door open or leaks around the seal and I have to spend more money to rewash my clothes.

People who said it was clean must have been in shortly after a cleaning because usually the floors are dirty, laundry carts are scattered about, and there's miscellaneous clothes and items sitting around on top of machines. For a place that plays Christian music all the time, they certainly aren't living up to any following of Jesus in how they're serving their community besides it being open to the public. But for people like myself who can't afford a washer and dryer or don't even have a hook up for machines at home, we're stuck having to battle the constant inefficiencies that is called Moore's.

The bathroom is really filthy and smells like urine and feces. I don't think it's ever cleaned. There is no lock on the door and somebody walked in on me! I used the washer once and it smelled of mildew, it also did not fully spin all the water out and had a mess! This place needs a makeover.

Your soda machine ate $3 of mine and then never gave me my soda. Unplug it if it’s just gonna eat peoples money

Washers do not wash clothing and don’t put water in the washer. It just throws my dirty clothing around and now I have to hand wash my clothing and I wasted money. And there’s no number to call if there’s a problem. This is the worst place to wash your clothes. You owe me money whoever owns this place.

Clean and well maintained with a good number of washers and dryers. Has various capacity washers.

Thank you to Moores who has increased the prices on their washers and dryers but not marked which ones are broken, feels great to spend even more money to not have my clothing cleaned. Put a dollar in to buy detergent to not get it to then load my clothes into a washer and find it's broken and not get my other $4 back either

There were nice people and there is plenty of places to sit and there is a coin machine.
Some of the machines smelled from being moldy.
