Morewood Gardens Parking Lot

Decent parking lot very close to the Carnegie Mellon University campus. Parking is free at certain times too.

The waitstaff were very friendly and made sure that we were seated right away. They also gave us ample time to order our food. It did not take long for our food to arrive, but if it did take a long time we wouldn’t have minded because of how good the live jazz band was. I ordered the halibut and the rest of the table ordered chicken nuggets with fries, and boy were we both in for a treat. The halibut was terrific and flavorful, and everyone kept telling me that I had to try a nugget. Of course I had to turn them down due to my fear of eating round-orange-colored foods, but by the end of the meal all our plates were clean. The only reason I am not giving this place five stars is because of all the cars. This place has cars everywhere! To begin with, we were seated between two parked cars, which I didn’t mind at first because both cars were electric. However, It was really annoying to have to move around every few minutes because the staff told us that someone wanted to park where we were seated. Just as annoying were all the headlights, I spilled food all over my favorite neon green suit as a result! Overall good food and environment, just be prepared to be asked to move around a lot and have headlights periodically illuminate your table.
